DOG OWNERS BEWARE! I WOULD AVOID THIS LOCATION! My husband and I took my pup here for grooming. At the time of pick up, we got a call warning that she somehow injured her nose and it was bleeding. Sophia A., the groomer, attributed it to a scab maybe coming off. Our pup had no scabs when we took her in. When we arrived, we observed a new injury on her nose. We did not make a fuss and accepted this may have been an accident, though we were concerned. A few days later, we spoke to a manager, Vanessa V., in person. She claimed the injury was not reported to management, but that it should have been, as any injury triggers a pet to be sent to the vet. Vanessa referenced documentation by the groomers, and we asked for a copy of such documentation. Vanessa said no, and we would need a subpoena.To make matters more concerning, when we spoke to the manager, our pup was present, and was trembling once we entered the grooming area. We cannot say exactly what took place, but are dismayed by the mishandling of our loved one, and disappointed by the response of both Sophia and Vanessa. We will never return to this location, and I would caution others as well. Our pups and other pets deserve far better, and so do we.

Today I went to get some allergy supplements for my dogs.They had this buy one get one 50% off.I took 2 different brand.When I get to the register I ask the cashier, if he could check if this is buy one get one 50% off, he replied -how do you want me to know, it doesn't say anything in the package. You should read the what it said in the advertising.He was been really rude. First he has a job because of customers like me who support this business.I have been ti this location many times and always felt welcomed. Not this time.

The actually service was 5 stars. But the flea medication that I paid over $200 for does not work. My cats still have fleas.They are indoor cats and the environment is free of fleas. They got fleas from our family dog early in the summer and for the past 2 months the flea meds have not worked. The family dog also still has fleas. The meds did not work for her either.Don’t waste your money on the prescription meds. It’s clear fleas are now immune to these as well.

I wrote this review on Google, and I copy and paste it here because I hope this gets back to Vanessa! THANK YOU!!! Today I was helped by Vanessa. Vanessa is a wonderful angel. I walked in desperately seeking for help on a 2 week old baby kitten I found. First person I saw was Vanessa and once I voiced out my help, Vanessa was on it within a matter of seconds. I was led straight to the aisle I had to be in. I wasn't left to wonder on my own, Vanessa was there gathering everything I needed all while educating me on the basics to save this kitten. Thank you so much, Vanessa. I hope you get the recognition you deserve for helping me out in my time of need. Te mereces todo lo bueno del mundo.

Took my dog Santos to grooming Scarlet was a groomer she was amazing Santos has trust issues but he was willing to trust her and she was willing to trust him and work with him at the end he look gorgeous my baby. Overall I really do enjoy coming into the store and always being helped already like a lotta friendliness of Ricky he always has been made to go guy and ask him any questions I may have

Every single person that works at this place has been so cool to me. Especially Ricardo. He is passionate about what he does and always puts a smile on my face. It makes me want to keep coming back to this place. Thanks for hiring great people petco! Oh and the stuff they sell is cool to.

I don't recommend this specific Petco store because they have the worse customer service , today December 5 2022 I stopped by to buy food for my dog , I tried to redeem my reward points but their worker name Ingrid didn't want to help , she said she didn't have and could redeem them , I showed her I had $5.00 dollars reward points but she said she was not going to do it , I thought wow , i never had this problem in other Petco store , they always redeem my points for me .... People like Ingrid shouldn't be in customer service department , thumbs down for 8801south Sepúlveda Blvd , thumbs for their customer service

I had a really great experience with the vaccine clinic here today. The person who checked me in (I think their name was Sam) was so patient with explaining everything to me. The doctor and the rest of the team answered all of my questions and helped me understand my puppy's progress. We will definitely return for the rest of my puppy's shots.

If I could give these people less than one star I would. Henry my puppy (yorkie-pooh) that is 4lbs evidently doesn't like the ladies in the grooming to clip his nails. The first time he went all was well. The second time - I do not know what happened - but that is when I was told he (Henry) was difficult and that he didn't let them cut his nails. The following month - I got the same report. Henry lets me do whatever I want to him (touch his hears, paws, brush him, and whatever). I thought - well - he is little and he will get used to them. Then the following month came and the same ladies and the same story - so now I started to think that maybe something happened and Henry holds a grudge and now the minute he sees the ladies he doesn't want them to touch him.... keep in mind he is a 4lb puppy. So- at their invitation for Henry not to come back - I haven't taken him back. And because of that I have just stopped shopping there all together. But I noticed that they continue to charge my credit card this odd amount of $21.80 - I didn't know what it was for.... and because I am busy - I didn't call. This month I finally called - because its very annoying to be charge for something every single month for something that I do not know what it is and by a store that Henry was invited to not come back and therefore a store I do not shop at. I WASTED almost one hour just getting to the right person to agree to cancel this continuous charge. He also said that they would go ahead and refund me 2 months. We talked about how this was not right and he said that he would make a request for an exception to be made and for me to get a refund for this money (apparently its a subscription that I didn't realized that they had set-me up with) - since Henry had been invited to not come back and it was obvious that I wasn't shopping there any longer. Although I was annoyed that this had taken an hour.... I was ok with it for I was trusting that perhaps next month when I look at my statement - I will no longer see that charge but I will also see a credit for some of what they have erroneously been charging me. UNTIL a few minutes ago when a lady from Petco called - during my work hours to take even more of my time to say that she apologyzed but that she is only refunding 2 months and wanted my permission to refund me. What?? That is just crazy to me . Then I go on to tell her that I had requested a refund and she just goes on and on and on as to explain to me on how she is "doing me a favor" to cancel this subscription. Ufff!!! Yeah! :( So - anyways..... the moral/warning of this story...... BE VERY CAREFULL as to not let Petco sign-you-up to whatever they are wanting to sign-you up. Yes, I understand you want to be nice and you want to donate to their funds and you want to just be a good person/customer. I was there.... I understand. Unfortunately - they have taken advantage of me.

Went in to get a vaccine I've already paid for. This is my 3rd time in trying to get this vaccine and the 3rd time I've been turned away with an appointment made all 3 times. Worst service ever and do not refund you tour money back.

This Petco has always been outstanding when it comes to customer service. Tatiana was being pulled in every direction by customer but she kept professional the entire time. Very admirable. She helped us to locate the milk for kittens. Explained to us which ones to purchase and how often to feed them. We also enjoyed the adoption volunteer named Bella. She is one that is cut out for the job. She has patience and she gets to know each cat and their individual personality Gee Gee out cashier was so awesome. She goes far and beyond for her customers. This Petco is awesome!!! Parking is pretty good as well.

The store and clean and organized and the staff is very friendly. Found what I was looking for very easily and the employee at the register proactively checked if she could price match any of my purchases from online so I could get the best deal. Also the kitties for adoption are so sweet and always make my day when I come visit.

The Manager and Staff at this Pet Co. are amazing. They went over and above for me the other day. I had a flight with a puppy for my Aunt and I studied the American Air website and thought I had the perfect dog carrier to get my new baby girl Tesla who is a brindle Frenchie to St. Louis. There is a requirement that there must be vents on 3-sides of the bag and mine only had 2. This requirement was not anywhere on the AA website. We made the dog turn around in the kennel the night before, etc. We thought we were set. So at the airport they denied us. I ran to Pet Co. in an Uber from LAX and they opened and helped me ASAP to get the perfectly approve TSA government pet carrier. Buy your carrier at Pet Co. Thanks so much Pet Co. You all are incredible at the Sepulveda Store in Los Angeles! Fight On!
