January 2024 Alan quoted $170 to detail two cars (total $340) with pet hair removal. Previous work was good for what we paid.
Contacted Alan again in September 2024 to schedule another detailing service for two cars. This time Alan has raised his prices up to $200/car but we agreed on $180/car after negotiations. The night before he's meant to arrive Alan texts bringing up questions about pet hair and asks for photos of the car interior. I sent the with no responses until the morning, 1 hr prior to his scheduled arrival Alan texts me asking to reschedule to 5 hours later. I agreed. Then 15 minutes prior to his arrival Alan wants to renegotiate the price due to pet hair.
Overall this second experience with Alan has been highly unprofessional with the last minute replies. If he has issues with the pricing he shouldn't have agreed to it in the first place. If has questions about the condition of the car he should have asked it when we first initiated the request for service.
With such last minute reschedules, Alan has proven to be a disrespectful vendor with poor communication and does not value customer's time.

Excellent customer service and was at my house at 8:30am as agreed. Did a full detail inside and out on my Toyota Prius and my wife's Toyota Camry and couldn't be happier.

It brings me no pleasure to leave a poor review, but considering that reviews are how I decide what business to utilize, I'd like to share my experience. I requested multiple quotes through yelp and explained that my car had stains on the front seat covers, pet hair, and needed a deep clean. The middle row seats didn't need shampooing, and the third row seat is always stowed so didn't need cleaning. Alan from NorCal detailing responded quickly, telling me he normally charges $220 but would give me a deal of $150 and he could come tomorrow. Out of all that responded (about 6 businesses), there were a few that offered the same price, but he had the highest review count. So we booked and he came to my house as scheduled. When he inspected my car he told me that even though I was honest about the condition of the vehicle that it would take him longer than usual and for a similar sized car he normally charges $280 (what happened to $220?). If you need pictures to make an accurate quote, then please do that. But don't waste my time by coming out here and then insisting on almost double the price you quoted me on, when there were several other businesses offering similar prices.REPLY: Really classy of you to start insulting your customer. I'm sorry, as a car cleaning service do you only clean ALREADY CLEAN cars? As you noticed, I am very pregnant and experiencing pain that makes it difficult for me to clean the car myself, thus why I wanted to pay for the service. When you request multiple reviews on yelp it gives you boxes to check so say what you are looking for. Ex: pet hair, stain removal, deep cleaning.... Etc. All of which are options I selected and assumed you would see when yelp asked you for the quote. You quoted me on a "full detail interior," what am I missing here? I didn't request just vacuuming and seat covers. I had further specific questions about my brand of seat covers and we discussed that. In my review I never insulted you, and I didn't say anything different to your face when you came out. I don't appreciate you being so rude, and repeatedly insulting me. You've gone from losing my business to losing my respect.

He did a great job i would recommend him to anyone that needs there car detailed inside. He was on time and very professional definitely going to call him again. Also the price he gave me was a good value most other places charge so much more and dont even wash your car seats. In all great job and a definitely will be calling him again.

Absolutely blown away by the work--my car looks fantastic!! Allan was so efficient and thorough and did an outstanding job. He treated my car with great respect. Then he helped me take pictures and helped me with the car cover (once it was back in the garage). I highly recommend Allan and North-Cal Mobile Wash and Detailing. You won't be disappointed.

I had an appointment made I received a yelp message 2 hours before appointment that he was busy doing another job and can we move appointment up 1 hour plus I responded that if he wanted to discount the price for a missed appointment I could rearrange my plans for the day I got no call and no show was the response Just BEWARE of this company's morals !

While on the work late at night, I requested a quote for interior detailing , Allan responding quickly and professionally. And with my busy schedule, Alan got me schedule an appointment that following day and the price unbeatable for all interior cleaning! I definitely would recommend him and will be giving him more business in the future and I refer him to all my friends and family!

I recently scratched my SUV up after getting lost in a forest (don't ask, haha). I contacted several companies on Yelp to get estimates on getting the scratches removed. Allan messaged me fairly quickly and we went back and forth throughout the day. He gave me a quote, which seemed very fair for the number of scratches I had. We made an appointmetnt for the same day. He met at my house after work and went right to work. Great service and the results were absolutely perfect!! A+++

(July 2022) In the process of relocating out of the area for a little bit, and prepping the recently purchased car with extra TLC, North-Cal was a convenient and perfect option in a pinch with little time to 'look around'. They made the appointment and quote process hella easy and delivered as promised. If I remember correctly, they arrived a little early and I was caught off-guard but totally appreciated it! I was also at the time staying in an airbnb with very little space to offer and they were able to work with me and found a good spot closeby without any issues with residents/neighbors. Did I mention, I contacted them via Yelp chat messaging Friday night and they took care of this first thing Saturday morning? YEP!Car looked and smelled great, like brand new!

Allan is great and legit. Nice and professional. He detailed my boyfriends tundra. It was simple and easy. I made an appt and he came over and detailed the truck while I was able to work from home. Glad he's mobile and didn't have to bring it in the shop.
