Very helpful, patient and friendly when placing in store order and even saved the coupon that wasn't applied for my friend to pick the next day. The delivery person was also very friendly and respective as well.

While other home improvement stores are a closer drive for us, my husband and I specifically choose to go to this Home Depot because of the quality of both the merchandise and customer service. The paint selection is wider with trendier colors and the lumber section tends to have smoother, less warped boards. Customer service is always great here. We've had awful experiences trying to chase down employees in other home improvement stores and have been given incorrect or suspicious information. We've personally found the Home Depot employees here to be honest and kind. For example, we tried to purchase our new stove at Lowes and were told there was a recall on it and that they could not sell it to us. We went to Home Depot and they could both sell it to us and explain how they were sure there wasn't any recall on the product. We also were told that we couldn't have a storm door installed by Lowes (because of the type of existing frame we had). Home Depot explained that it was totally possible and helped us order everything to make it happen. A special shout-out to Stacy from the Millworks department. We did have a couple hiccups in the installation process of our door (no fault of Home Depot). Not only did she graciously speak with us every time we called with questions, but she also gave us some money back for our trouble. Thank you for being such a wonderful help, Stacy!

Military discount means if you are a active or retired military you will receive a discount on your purchases. My 90 year old father has been shopping at HD for as long as I can remember. Now they require a smartphone to show a QR code for the discount. My father never needed a smartphone when he was drafted to fight and possibly lose his life for our country. He's 90 and struggles with a simple flip phone so how is he going to search his account for a HD QR code? It's obvious what HD is doing. Most retired military folks over 70 don't have smartphones so this will ease the pain of giving these hero's the 15% discount they have had. They all carry a paper card showing their service dates so what's with the smartphone? Is this how to take care of the folks that risked everything for our country. I'm done with Home Depot as is my father who seems to go to the hardware store daily. Lowes is still honoring these military discounts so we will drive an extra mile to Lowes.

We have been doing some home improvement projects as well as begun working on some small gardening projects and this has lead us to have many visits to our local home improvement stores. We stopped into this Home Depot location as we hadn't found exactly what we were looking for down the street at another retailer and browsed around for a while. We had our dog with us, which is a big perk of coming to home improvement stores (yay dog friendly) and multiple staff members asked us if we needed anything and a few asked if they could pet our dog too. Everyone was so friendly and even though we didn't need any help we knew there were plenty of helpful people around the store we could turn to. As we were checking out one of the staff members asked if they could give our dog some treats and proceeded to become his favorite person as they gave him attention and some dog bones. We'll probably be back soon as we continue working on projects!

We had an Air Conditioner installed, Home Depot was the General Contractor. The unit was never properly installed. The gas line was not tightened costing us thousands of dollars, the work was never completed, ducts and registers were not replaced as stated in contract and energy credits we were to get were never received since the documents were removed. When we complained to the contractor, they sent employee who did not fix the problem, but instead drilled holes in the plenum, exposing the interior of the house to the rain and elements. Sending conditioned air to the outside. The contractor turned the problem over to the General Contractor, Home Depot. Home Depot said they were not responsible for it. This matter was turned over to the State. The State determined that the work was not completed and not done to code. Home Depot tried to knock down their liability, and agreed to pay a lesser amount. The wanted us to sign an NOn-Discloser Agreement. We signed the paper, but removed the NDA. Home Depot apparently determined that since we did not sign the NDA, they were not liable for any of the damages regardless what the State says.

This review has waited long enough. I've been debating whether or not to write this review and I've decided YES I am going to write this review AND I hope that management sees it. Having been a regular Home Depot customer I have never experienced the unprofessionalism and mistreatment I did when visiting this particular store in West Sacramento. I came in to attempt to purchase an item that lowe's had on their shelves for a much lower price. I went into several other Home Depot locations on the same day and was able to get the price match with no issue as long as I could show them the lowe's site which showed the item was in stock and NOT on clearance at a local store. For some reason at this store that did not end up being the case. When I got to the store I spent a good 20 mins or so searching the top of the aisle for the item as it was not on the shelf. We finally located it and I went straight to check out. The initial cashier was very sweet but mentioned she had never done a price match so she asked a fellow cashier for instruction. That cashier directed her and she proceeded to make the adjustment. After making the adjustment the register computer alerted the cashier to call the "MOD-Manager on duty". Because the adjustment was so large she needed approval from a manager. -- In the meantime, another cashier named Alina walks over and begins to ask questions. Alina then proceeds to tell me they cannot do the price adjustment because I didn't have a paper ad. I explained to her that I read their policy and I have been to other HD stores that day and got the adjustment with no quarrels. She then went onto say that it "must be getting clearanced at lowes then" and they could not price match clearance items. I explained to her the item was not on clearance and showed her my phone where the item on lowes site did not say clearance. She continued to combat the information. Then, the manager strolls up and before even looking at the lowes information he totally shuts down the transaction. And says that they cannot price match lowes because that then they would be "giving it away". To which I exclaimed "well you aren't giving it away but Home Depot is" because I was very irritated at this point. And he replied "I am Home Depot" standing there in his orange apron. I simply could not. So I then told him "how can you simply say no when you never even looked at the lowes ad?" He realized he f***** up then he asks to see it. But continues on and says-- "I am going to defer to my cashier who says you must have a paper ad" and she was still standing there saying "yeah we can't do it". Both he and his cashier Alina were extremely rude and unprofessional. They both treated me like a second class citizen and both were snarky towards me from the beginning of our interaction. So I made it a point to tell him how I felt they were unprofessional and I asked for his managers information. He told me the info and Then he says "well if you can get a picture of the SKU on the other bottles you have or bring one in and it's the same we'll match it." Funny how the tone changes. So then I said "Okay." And walked out to my car to see if I can get a picture or find a bottle in my car. On the way to my car I heard yelling behind me and it was the cashier Alina. Who says to me "ma'am you don't need to bring a picture the manager says no we're not going to do it so you don't need to come back". At that point I just said what I felt which was "okay, now you are just being assholes". And she turns away and calls me what I made out to sound like "a f****** b****** So I called the manager next day and informed him of my experience. I also made sure to drop names and time of this encounter. I informed him that I will NEVER and I mean NEVER go back to this HD location. They couldn't pay me to. Now I understand that the job may be less than glamorous for some p

Bought a kit sink from Home Depot Nov 20th 2021. Glacier manufacture. After 2 weeks the sink is showing sings of corrosion at the bottom. Never happened with any sink I owned in my past. Home Depot Gurt Manager (not sure Is spell correct). says today that I have to bring the product. The sink is installed and I can't pay to take out and drive again with this to Home Depot to have the money back. They should just re imbrued me the amount of about $301 that cost. It its a healthy issue and Home Depot should not sell these items that affects health on people. I Try to cleaned it and nothing works.

The other day my husband and I went there to purchase three galvanized planters. We needed assistance because most were stuck together and we could not pry them apart. And then along came store employees Eric and Jose. They worked together for several minutes and I do mean several...and finally released some planters for us. Without these two employees, we probably would not have been able to purchase what we wanted. Then they came out and helped us load our truck. These two men did an outstanding job...I hope someone reads this that works at the store and gives them the praise they deserve for the great customer service they gave. Job well done guys...thank you.

I frequently shop at home improvement stores. Sometimes it's difficult to find exactly what you need. Yesterday I was on that mission and I was wondering around the store looking for the right combination of items to solve my needs! As I was walking through the lumber section, looking for brackets, I spotted an employee working diligently on a stack of lumber. Without me saying a word, the employee kept his sight on me and ask, "Can I help you?" I initially stated it was ok, because he was obviously working! The employee stopped what he was doing and walked towards me where I saw his name tag, Umlesh! After explaining what I was trying to build, Umlesh personally escorted me around the store and provided three different options to address my needs. I had been walking around the store for 15 minutes and had found only one item. With the help from Umlesh I had all the items I needed and was headed back to my car in five minutes. I just wanted to thank Umlesh for taking the time go out of his way to help me. I really appreciated his professional assistance!

I called to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and give me a quote on installing vinyl fencing around my property. The day of the appointment the person didn't show up so I called the home service department to find out why no one showed up at my appointment. It final came out that the guy called a wrong number and left a message to the wrong number trying to set up a phone consultation with me. One I was expecting someone on site not over the phone. When we final hashed out what was wrong the "guy" couldn't come out because he was with anther customer. This is the final straw with Home Depot. They partner with idiots. I should have learned when I had them install my hot water heater. What a mess. Home Depot. You lost another customer.

Very well maintained garden center, but hardly any stock compared to other Home Depot locations. Prices higher compared to other locations too.

What's the point in selling products if no employees will make themselves available to sell them. I asked for help no less than 3 times and heard a total of 5 pages overhead, but nothing. Well at least you have 5 employees up front to keep each other company. sad they're incapable of achieving an actual sale though.
