This is the second time I stop by this location to donate goods. The person receiving literally inspects everything as if you are charging them for the donated items. Not even a good morning/afternoon nor thank you for your donation.

I have been going here for years. Recently, I have been donating items. Yesterday, I brought a very nice table. I had to unscrew the legs to fit it in my vehicle. They refused to take it because I forgot the screws. Ok. I understand that. Today I came back with the screws. I have an injured back and requested help to get it out of my vehicle. The guy wouldn’t help. I took it out myself. After taking it out, the guy tells me that I have to put it back together myself or they won’t take it. He claims they don’t have any tools. A store that takes furniture doesn’t own a screwdriver? (It’s only a handful of screws). I couldn’t do it. I tried to politely ask why he didn’t mention that yesterday when he told me that I had to go home to get the screws. He just swore at me.

One time I dropped off 2 boxes of donations and the guy said in a sarcastic tone to not come back again unless I had more to donate...rude!!!

Only went to the outlet side, this bins is dirty. I found 25lbs of clothing, shoes, and housewares so I would go again but the place and people are not contributing to the best atmosphere. The floors are covered in clothing and items that no one picks up, and SOME people (older white men) are so grabby they hit people with the items and push people aside. I feel like people would have more manners if they rotated differently. They rotate several rows at once, sometimes never finishing a row. And you're allowed to dig before the row is done so a few people run and grab trying to be the first at every bin. Bathrooms were no dirtier than other places but smelled way worse, possible dead animal?

Everything in this store is wrong. They don't rotate anything good like they use to. Some of the workers in charge keep some of the donations for themselves and also in the RETAIL store next to it, but it happens more often in the OUTLET store. They give an awful costumer service and there's rumors that the workers have placed jewelry in suitcases where some of the customers can just grab and leave because they never check the suitcases even though it's one of the rules to check all of the suitcases and sometimes they are family members of the staff. The store it's been getting emptier because by 3:00p.m they stop rotating or there's just trash in the bins. They have even rotate the same things over and over again. Sometimes you can even stand there for more than 2 hours waiting for the rotators to do their job. The workers always put dumb rules we have to follow and they decide if you leave the store or not, they have even kicked out people without a reason. I really like this store but the new staff is really problematic and they think they have the authority over everyone. In conclusion, they should have better staff that brings a good costumer service so everyone can feel comfortable and not intimidated.

A small retail store attached to a warehouse and their clearance center. Always busy and prices are higher than they used to be. Still a nice selection is available.

Love shopping here for clothing. Like bringing friends here too. If there are 50 tops in my size, Long Sleeve tops for example, EACH ONE is different. Talk about retail therapy!?? I like trying new looks, with the inexpensive freedom in the purchase price.?Plus, other ladies there are always easy to ask for a second opinion. I do like the few interesting, quality furniture items & cookware. Always different and at a good prices ?. Recommended. The line can move a little slow, so pack your patience & remember, your getting a "Good Deal"☑️?

We all do it... We scramble for those places to drop our donations off throughout the year, and some of us even at the end of the year. Sometimes it's hard to figure out where to go, who's going to be open and how easy will it be to get through the process. The one thing that I absolutely like about this specific Arden location, is that its drive-through Yep, you can actually drive through to drop off your donations. It's truly the best! In most cases, it's fast and easy and you're in and out before you even realize it. We cleaned up a bunch of stuff, and Goodwill was the closest to where we headed. We pulled into a short line, and waited our turn. The line moved fairly quickly, and I noticed that more than a dozen cars were in line behind us. When it was our turn, a gentleman came over with a cart and we jumped out to clear out the trunk. We got it done in no time, before we were on our way. I do love that they will generously take almost anything. The people behind us were dropping off a ton of furniture! The only challenge is that we had to ask for, and wait for the obligatory receipt, and the general area was super dirty. Other than that, it's easy to drop and go!

Needed to drop off a LaZBoy recliner in good condition. Called ahead they said it was okayShowed up in person, there was no attendant there and when I went inside to say hi they barked at me to go back outsideSomeone came into the parking lot to look at the chair, called the other guy to look at the chair, then they both mumbled to each other and went back inside without saying a thing to me.Real waste of my time

People are crazy here, especially at the outlet. The retail side is quieter or well-organized, but dusty and smells funny. If you drop something, count on it being covered in dirty dust. The outlet side is noisy and there's never any carts available. Some of the bins in the outlet smell like urine, are covered with pet hair and dust, and there is only one cashier who is amicable--the older eastern European lady. I tried to check out using credit and the person wouldn't do that option for me like they did for the boys in front of me. This person was very flirtatious, especially when changing out bins, constantly giggling around the group of males waiting for the new bins. There is a huge selection on either the retail or outlet side with the outlet side being much more affordable, the trade off with that is that there is little organization. It's actually quite a mess. Bring a mask...and maybe gloves. Definitely hand sanitizer. They now lock the bathroom doors but have a remote to unlock them, if you ask.

If I could give it a negative star I would. I tried to donate today and the person working the donation drop off was rude. I parked in a parking spot due to the person in front of me having a large trailer with big items. The person came out of the store looked at me and helped the gentleman with the trailer. When it would have been my turn, he helped the person who had pulled up after I did. I said excuse me and the other customer said she was next. He started yelling at me asking why I didn’t wait in the line. I explained why I parked where I did and he continued to yell at me (in front of customers) and said I needed to get in line. Which is now 4 cars deep. If he had said I needed to get in line when I arrived ( he looked at me 2 separate times) I would have had no problem doing so, but the fact I had already waited 15 minutes for him to unload 5 items from the previous customer, I just left.

*Retail Store: Wow the actual store is jam packed of really great items. I recently had been a bit annoyed and upset at the pricing of items in the bay area. Way too high. Here also the clothing tends to be higher than most other second hand stores. But as a whole that would not detour me from coming from SF to shop at this location. Well maintained and staff was very nice and helpful!Outlet: so being from the bay area we have an *outlet/bins in SSF. That was my first experience of the "bins' except for about 10+ years ago I went to what I thought was a reg.Goodwill Retail Store in S. California and I was a bit confused because I had never heard or experienced on outlet prior so didnt really stay for long. OK sorry, back to this location. I had been watching YouTube videos and came across these great videos and wanted to experience it myself. Although it was kind if confusing trying to find an actual outlet thru their website, I eventually figured it out and decided to go one day and his several. I have found some pretty great things. The only thing I really have a *complaint* about is the regarding the regular resellers that are bullies to new people especially. I have watched videos with different ways they do the actual bins that come out, but for the most part the customers line up on the blue lines and wait fir several bins to come out in a row giving the customers that are lined up waiting a fair shot at a bin in front of them. At this location the employee brings out one bin at a time and has to INSTRUCT these regular customer to wait until she parks i. THEN it's a crazy mad dash from MANY that surrounded that one cart and basically push you out if the way and intimidate or r try to intimidate. But beings that its only one bin that comes out, you think ok im on the line so the next bin is in my section and I will get a shot at least....Wrong !! Again the same customers basically push you further down the line because they are so aggressive and really don't care. They will get what they want and we the new ppl don't have a right to even get in on it until they are done and move on to bully the next bin. Way to aggressive and intimidating for meBut I am going to give it anothr shot ....I will wear my steel toe boots and be as aggressive..."opps im sorry I didn't see your foot as you stepped in front of me. *Wish me luck...Bullies .... im coming !

Very RUDE and sarcastic cashier clerk (African American lady). She scolded me when she came back from leaving the cashier in the middle of my transactions. She said, "You could have removed all the hangers while waiting!" With a rude look! and smirk!!!! So I replied -- sorry you just abruptly left without saying a word in the middle of my transaction! Besides that is NOT my job to remove the hangers from the cheap clothing! YEAH, we could have saved some time if you just removed the hangers instead of just standing there! I almost wanted to just leave and not buy anything!!!!
