Maria Vega, a trouble shooter, solved our problem in minutes! As non-residents, it's difficult to solve bank issues from abroad. Our first task this morning, was to visit the BoA and in 10 minutes, María worked her magic, making our life incredibly better for my husband and I. Best BoA, Santa Monica!

I went an hour ago, at 3pm on a Saturday. Very thankful this location is open Saturdays. There were three tellers. I waited for less than ten minutes and got as many quarters for laundry as i wanted! I was very pleased. YMMV -- I've been here other Saturdays and not been able to get any, have a $10 limit, etc.

Took more than two hours to open a CD because they're shortstaffed and uninformed about the process. Amazing that banks can have record profits but not enough money to properly staff and train major branches like this one. I will not be coming back.

Teller line is long and I went in for a simple task of getting quarters and they don't allow you to get more than $10 worth! Even the grocery stores don't give you change anymore so this is the only option you have if you have a coin laundry machine in your apartment complex. One woman I ran into on my block spent the whole day looking for quarters.

The Bank Manager "Julio" (who was not wearing his name badge & I had to ask him multiple times his name), was not helpful at all. I am a very reasonable person, and explained that I would like a waived fee for my cashiers check (or something credited to my account) for the following inconvenience: Yesterday, I went to 4 branches (per Google maps, the Bank of America Website, and the Bank of America Phone Number for locations), that said they were open and they were closed. This morning, I am now at my 4th BOA Location after the same issue. That's almost 2 hours of driving and unnecessary gas trying to get a cashier's check. I was kind, explained my frustration calmly and asked to please credit me something. He said there's no way they could do that and I asked what else they could do. He said nothing and walked away. The teller at the counter said he was so sorry because of how rude Julio was to me. What can BOA do to make up for this?? I am a loyal customer for 20 years and do everything through BOA. I am not asking for anything crazy for a billion dollar company. I am very frustrated at this point and will be blasting on social media until there is some kind of customer service.

Customer Service is way below par. Understaffed for a long line, one teller, managers walking around doing NOTHING, not pitching in, which they could easily do.

, ! , . ... . , , . . . Rozanna is a Russian-speaking specialist, very incompetent! Instead of prompting help, she began to read some kind of morality. What does she want there ... Russian speakers are in a hurry somewhere. you could answer the question, it would be faster than reading morality. Very upset with the bank. I'll get on my feet and close my account with them.

Terrible, Terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. Rude, insincere, unprofessional host! The gentleman working 10-28-2022 at 1:45 (check your cameras/you can review body language) treated/spoke to an elderly woman with the utmost disrespect . He decided to sh*t chat with someone before helping the elderly and turned me away due to staffing. Also, noticed the line was extremely long and a customer and teller going at it. What a joke!!! This will be taken to corporate. All staff here have been rude and disrespectful in the past. After 10 plus years, I decided to switch to Chase because they made updating my last name the most difficult process and customer service has taken a dump. Shameful!!!!!!! I will make sure to tell my friends and family to switch to Chase. I also got $250 to switch over. (If someone from high management wants to contact me via message, I will gladly point out all your rude employees)

I took time off of work since this branch is only open until 4:00pm weekdays and closed on weekends to hopefully accomplish a banking task. I walked in and met with a business banker who was able to see me right away. I was there to add another signature to an account. She said their procedure is for her to call their "risk department" and then she would get back to me when I could come back to add the signature to the account. It's been two weeks ago now and I have never heard back from her! I called the bank multiple times over the last week and they do not take phone calls. I've even called the main number to Bank of America and they as well confirmed that there is not a number to contact this branch that they will answer. I left the banker with personal documents, names, phone numbers, etc. so she had multiple avenues to 'get back to me' as she said. And what happened to all my personal information that I left her with?? I do not trust that she handled my paperwork in a professional manner. This is her position at the bank and what she is supposed to be qualified to handle. Obviously not competent! This branch is known for its bad customer service and this is just one more bad review added to the pile of others. In the event the bank actually cares to read reviews, this banker is the Asian female in the office was the first door on the right. I'm sure this will be one more business using Covid as an excuse for whatever they can come up with. Seems to be the trend these days.

IF YOU DO IT FOR ONE CUSTOMER, THEN YOU SHOULD DO IT FOR ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS! Especially, if there are 4 employees standing around not engaged in any type of business with customers and you have 10 people waiting in line as only 1 bank teller is working. Yesterday 3/18/2022 between 3:15pm and 4pm I had an experience that I thought could have been handled much differently if this bank institution actually had employees that work and serve all their customers the same and efficently. I'm writing this review a day later as I needed to collect my thoughts. I walked into the bank with a $20 bill in hand and asked 2 employees who were standing at the front doing nothing if I needed to stand in the long line if I just needed 2 rolls of quarters for the $20 bill. The gentleman looked to his left to the other employee by the name of Erica and she looked at me and stated that yes I had to stand in line. I explained that the last time I was there, that they were kind enough to make the quick swamp. I also had my bank card with me to show that I'm a BOA customer and not just some random person off the street needing quarters. Erica still looked at me and instructed me to get into line as neither one of them could help me. The reason I am stating this employees name "Erica", is because she looked right at me and let me know she couldn't assist me and that I had to go stand in line. What infuriated me is seeing not only Erica and the other gentleman employee standing there, but 2 other employees standing around doing a whole lot of nothing as the line was getting longer. Then to top it off, as I was standing in line getting closer to the teller. I see Erica and another employee go to the back area where the teller is and go into a back room, only to see that other employee come out with 2 rolls of quarters for the customer in the back of the line. And never once did Erica come by me and assist me as she did so easily for the customer in the back. You would think with the several recent BOA closures, that the employees (especially including managers) would be doing everything they can to service their customers needs adequately and efficently as their jobs may become non-existent and unnecessary. I guess they don't think about that. If customers know they're being served well with the utmost professionalism and service, then that in return makes customers happy and they continue to return and probably entice other customers to visit a location which in return may prevent a location being closed. Just something they should think about. And I'm just going to end it on this note. I should have been served just the same as the customer that was in the back of the line by Erica giving access to another employee to help that customer out. The only difference I saw between myself and the other customer was that I'm a black woman and the other customer was a "white" looking man to me. Not sure if that seemed to be a factor in why I didn't receive the same level of service. I like to think that Erica is just not an exceptional employee and that she just didn't feel like serving me at the time of my request. But, it's something that was a noticeable difference to me. I'm sure all their bank cameras can confirm all the I just wrote in the review if need be. Let it be known that this location could do a whole lot better in servicing their customers. Have a nice day!

I was given a 2pm appointment & I'm still waiting it's 245pm so now just writing this bad review... worst service ever!!!!! Nothing but apologies with ZERO ACTION!!! The second my BUSINESS ACCOUNT is handled I'm removing ALL my funds!!! Just enough for deposits NOTHING MORE!!! Bank of America has gotten much worse over the years from claims handled to in-person resolutions like mine today. I suggest... go to a smaller bank with more ability for better services all around!

I went to this branch to change money on Wednesday around 3 pm. bank is supposed to open until 4 pm. Yes, they were open, but there was no tellers window open. There was only one customer ahead of me and complaining at the front desk. There was only one place to wait in line. When my turn came, I asked the person to change $100 in the quarter and $50 in singles. She told me that there was no cash in this bank. Then she said to me that she might give in just $40 in quarters. It happened the same thing before. So I was writing a new check for $40 instead of the original amount of $150. As soon as she saw that, she told me it must be cash to cash because this bank has no money and pointed out closed tellers window. Another bank employee came to me then he said to me that get some money from outside ATM. I said I didn't have a debit card; all my cards are credit cards. I told them what kind of bank this is. Then he said to me, go to other branches Overland & Pico. I have Adv Plus Banking, regular Saving, and Advantage Saving from this branch. I am so upset and disappointed with this branch and the employee's manner.

This bank is absolutely terribly understaffed or poorly run. I was in line for a teller for over 50 minutes.
