“homegoods is great- much better quality items for the home vs marshall's or ross. the selection is always updated. we have always been able to find multiple items when we stop by, especially when browsing for a bit. pricing is not "cheap" but less that the retail/ original. i don't care about service- just as long as they have plenty of cashiers to ring up n move the line out. people need to get their panties out of their mouth. it's homegoods- basically, self service.”

One item that we wanted in the store was defective, but another store clerk helped us place an online order and will get it delivered to our home. Will definitely shop here again!”

“Fifi is my go-to tailor in LA. She is extremely detail-oriented and has done a terrific job on countless pieces of mine, from basically remaking a coat for me, to my best friends' bridesmaid dress, to altering a casual jacket and a really nice silk skirt set, she has done an incredible job on each and every item. She is also such a nice person to be around, we laugh all the time. She also is very knowledgeable about things that are on-trend. She's helped me identify how things should look to make them more trendy. I'm very grateful for her, and Nordstrom Santa Monica is lucky to have her on the team!”

We got some very lovely smelling bath and body wash, aisles were well stocked with a variety of goods from toiletries to make up, clothing such as sweater to Jeans to summer wear, slippers, even bathroom accessories. “Well, the store is everything organized, not like other stores that I am not going to say their name, all the merchandise is at a good price.I bought a perfume that costs expensive at Macy's and here it cost me 35 dollars and an Adidas brand cap that costs 30 dollars at the Adidas store here it cost me 15 dollars ? and a polo brand t-shirt that regularly costs 45 dollars cost me 25 dollars, that's why he said that all the merchandise is good in this store :)”

“Great place to go and workout outdoor. The equipment they have is more than enough for a great workout.Is an amazing experience to go and workout where many big names of the body building used to train together.You can just go and take pictures.If you want to actually train you need to pay a 10 USD day pass at an office that is next to it.Public parking lot at venice beach is 9 USD per day. And is like 3 min walking distance.You will meet regulars to the gym, but also many people who is just visiting, like I did.”

“If you would like the ultimate American (maybe more Californian) cultural experience come visit Hawthorne Burlington! I arrived at around 3:50pm on a Saturday and was greeted by the bouncer (loss prevention) who told me to smile for the camera before she unlatched the velvet rope (retractable partitions). Dressing rooms are no longer open or staffed but if you do manage to find a piece of clothing you like in a sea of hot mess, there are two cashiers available to take payment from people who actually decided to do a good deed today and pay the store instead of just walking out nonchantly despite the "we prosecute shoplifters" signs. Ok, here I am the sucker waiting in line to pay enjoying the ambiance of this loud ringing alarm coming from the back emergency exit, noticing the line is slowing down because we lost a cashier who went to chase down some shoftlifters (somebody pay this lady more please!) What a ride, and unlike in Disneyland Splash Mountain, I would love to purchase my reaction photo from Burlington Loss Prevention to capture memory of this epic experience.”

“Great shop commensurate of the standards that Anthropologie seems to have in their stores but sadly in a not so great location anymore(Santa Monica 3rd St Promenade that has gone somewhat downhill). Not the store's fault by any means, but how the 3rd st Promenade has become over the years. To bad, so sad!!But let's focus on the store, shall we?! Still a great store and I still suggest a visit, especially from a woman's pov.Awesome merchandise display and organized and in order! Definitely as in line with the stores standards.”

“I was turned down by a staff member who didn’t want to extend me customer service to just check on an item for me in the back to see if the size was available. Because I wanted to make sure before I left, however while I was at the registered I figured I’d try one more time with the cashier. This cashier was Jasmin was a total sweetheart and she went to the back and gave me 5 star customer services and check and also suggested that I come back tomorrow and double check. She deserves staff member of the month. We need customer service like this!”

“Jose, the manager of this WLA store on Olympic & Sawtelle was AMAZING. He was so patient with my comedy of errors. First, this manager was working as a cashier to keep the line flowing and minimize the wait. He answered my many questions (right size of pants? which pair was cuter to him?). Then we both realized I needed my phone to pull up my latest rewards! I left my phone in my car on the 2nd floor (horror). He said he would wait for me and hold the transaction. He did and I returned. Then the most recent rewards I pulled up on my mobile had been used. (Burning more of Jose’s time). I had to log in, create a new PW to access my truly latest reward on the store site (ugh) to finally complete this transaction. Jose was an angel, he never lost his cool (I did numerous times). I told him he was an angel, so patient. Rare and exceptional service. He was not even trying, a natural. And his team was also nice and helpful. Thank you, Jose!!!Btw, my phone turned out to be in my shopping bag on me, not in my car, ay dios!”
