We loved this school - great teachers, parents, students. We would have stayed there after grade 1 but we got into Community Charter which we heard was even better.

My 6 year old daughter and I absolutely love this school! They have been so welcoming to us as we had just moved across the country from Boston last year. The staff are all super nice and they keep the school well sanitized and clean. Absolutely no issues with bullying and you can tell the principal truly cares about the wellness of the children. We feel very blessed to be apart of such an amazing community.

My daughter had gone to private schools until 2021 when she started at West Hollywood Elementary ("WHE"). During the pandemic when school finally started back in the zoom world, WHE was organized, communicative and allowed for a great learning environment despite the challenges of a pandemic. When the school opened back up, my child began to flourish. She loves her teachers and the communication is unparalleled. The culture, activities both extracurricular and academically are up to par with that of the overpriced private schools. We are always in the know and our daughter is a proud Wizard. Our 4 year old asks every day if she can go to WHE.

We couldn't be happier at West Hollywood Elementary. This is our fifth year at the school, and our kiddos are thriving under the guidance of wonderful teachers and staff who care greatly about education and the emotional well being of the students. We have been super happy with all of our kiddo's educational advancements year after year.We were very impressed with how they handled online learning, and even happier to be back at school seeing the community of families we missed over the last two years. It's also been great to meet the new families and staff that have joined this lovely, little school. It's truly a special place, and our kids come home happy and smiling : )

My daughter started Kinder here in the fall and I have been very impressed with the warmth of the staff and how much she is learning. Yes, Stop and Drop can be a drag, and yes, she comes home pretty filthy sometimes (they're kids! they love dirt!) but those minor issues pale in comparison to how excited she is to go to school. Parents are very involved and work hard to ensure students have access to programs not always provided by LAUSD - art class, music, STEAM, a PE teacher, teacher's aides. We love WEHO Elementary!

The school is waste of time. My child did not improve while attending this school. I was also surprised how dirty my child comes back from school everyday. They care about mask but I picked her up from the hand of her teacher few times and my child hands were so dirty her clothes and face full if black spots like they never teach them to wash hands. Very low quality school..every time you talk to principal she ignore complaints..I understand they force the child to wear mask but isnt the dirt in their school will bring her more dangerous germs..shame on u LAUSD with all the taxes you charge and you provide us such quality school

The morning drop offs are way too un organized. I appreciate the parents who volunteer , but this is a lausd issue . They need a better system to ensure the kids have a routine .

I attended West Hollywood Elementary in 1980&1983. My mom adorned the diplomas with her beautiful calligraphy. The principal was amazing. As was my first grade teacher, Mrs Haynes. I recommend to anyone asking . I never found as good an experience through the rest of my yrs as a scholar.
