The vast variety of collectibles spans from sci-fi to Marvel, Star Wars, DC, Disney, Music, Retro, Movies, TV, Comics, superheroes, Ad icons, video games, and cartoons. It feels like a mini museum with oversized characters like Groot at the entrance and Spiderman on the walls. This store is a treasure trove for all things imaginative--a must-visit to kick-start your fantasies.”

“the whole staff is freaking amazing! so kind and they put me on a few series! a phenomenal selection of comics and graphic novels. they don’t carry anything that dates before the store opened (2020 or 2021?). with that said, they have A LOT of boxes of content from the last few years.ps they have 3 walls of great pinball machines, my favorite is the medieval madness!”

“Just left. Bought some IC-2000 and kicker. I wanted to say "thank you" to whoever it was that anwered my questions about Mr. Surfacer products. The bearded gentleman at the computer. He has consistantly had helpful advice without being one of those "You're doing wrong" kind of guys. He's much more of the "You might try this" types. Offering up resourceful suggestions. He obviously knows the products and recommends complimentary goods that will work toghether. It was my 2 or 3rd time asking questions. BHOH has good staff. “When I was young I collected action figures so I decided to see what they might have that was hopefully hard to find or unique.The action figures are definitely older pieces and many are characters from old movies. However, I found the variety limited to figures from old movies and shows.They, however, have an extensive and varied collection of Disney characters and characters from a myriad of animated children's shows..”

“The people in this store are beyond friendly. They have so much knowledge and up-to-date baby gear. They are so willing to help and inform you on these big ticket purchases that really add up. They never rush you or make you feel that you’re asking too many questions. As a mom of a new baby, I have so many questions and wants to make sure my child is safe and comfortable. They are so trustworthy and you are in great hands when you go to the store. I worked with Michelle and had the most wonderful experience. She was friendly, warm, informative, kind. She was never trying to sell me anything, and never pressured me. Which is so rare in a retail store. This is an amazing store!”

“Excellent toy store with extremely helpful owner. He happily showed me which section of the store had suitable toys for a range of ages and personally gift wrapped each toy. He made a small mistake with one child's name, which I didn't mind, but insisted on rewrapping the gift and correcting the spelling - what a legend! The children absolutely loved their gifts. I'd 100% recommend this toy store and will be paying a second visit when I next return to LA. Thank you!”

“They have a lot of stuff, and if you don't know what you need, (as in you if something breaks and you don't know what it is) then they will help. They are also very nice. They have a lot, and if they don't have what you need then they will order it for you and call you when it arrives. They even told me about a cool spot for driving rc cars that I think they made. Great place. /. 5 cats out of 5”

“I've been here twice and I've walked out a few times with a bunch of figures. I wish I grabbed the Cell figure from there. Other than that, this place is really great and the employees have always been friendly. If you guys want figures for a reasonable and good price, I recommend going to this store.”

“I visited here about 4 years ago and instantly fell in-love. It was here that I was introduced to such things as Ugly Dolls and those rabbits that smoke...heh. I will always love this place, one major reason is that they also sell a lot of Tim Burton collectibles, and I'm a huge Burton fan. I bought a set of his small figurines while there.”

He's really friendly, is happy to give recommendations, and he adds a nice touch with gift wrapping.You have to call for an appointment, but it's EASY -- it's basically like calling a shop to see if they're open. Just call ahead of time and you'll be fine; the several times I've been here, I had no problem shopping when I wanted to. The truth is that you get a much better shopping experience.”
