Oh my goddd this hotel is an absolute gem in a chaotic city. Relaxing and comforting vibe, tucked away to feel hidden in a busy city. It holds beautiful views of Beverly Hills whilst also offering multiple different events each week. Highly recommend.

I’m leaving a negative review due to a terrible experience with an employee named Liz (Elizabeth). I used to be a frequent guest at this hotel, but during my last stay, she was incredibly rude to me and my friend. Despite our attempts to remain polite, the encounter felt surreal. This wasn’t an isolated incident either - I’ve now heard from five other people who’ve had similar negative experiences with her., including even our Uber driver, who said “ohhh I know WHO you are talking about!!!!this is not the first time I hear about her!”
Why would I return if some members of the staff is disrespectful? I won’t. It’s up to you to decide if this issue gets addressed, but I felt like I can’t just leave it at that. We came there to relax and have a good time but unfortunately the experience was not relaxing because of one particular person:( that’s sad and disappointing!!!
No questions to reception and other staff members, but this lady was really unpleasant..

The quote at the entrance states “hello darkness”, when in reality it is a nightmare! Very disappointing overrated hotel, should get 2 stars for the dirt, less than one star for the craziness happening at the front desk. The guy I’ve checked out with was literally drank and impolite! Very very rude! Each night there was a party going on with “animal house” noises at all times, making impossible for us to sleep! Cherry on the pie we almost missed our flight by waiting 35minutes to get our luggage’s back (they’ve sent our bags back into our old rooms, which we have checkout 6 hours before)…I could share so much more but in few words the worst experience ever, at almost 400 per night + 1k deposit (don’t book your stay here)!

We booked a room for 3 nights, when we arrived, the receptionist told us the hotel is overbooked so we couldn’t stay there. We got another hotel offered by them that is 350$ cheaper and no compensation…

Wonderful hotel but they overcharge at check out. We were charged $26 for sunscreen which we never used and a $43 a night entertainment fee for entertainment we never saw. Tried to dispute it, but they refused. Staff was very pleasant. Would have given it a five star review otherwise.
Noteworthy details: Read your invoice carefully and note the extra charges.

Positives: beautiful old furniture with character and style. Rooms are large and comfortable. Nice rooftop pool with great views.
Negatives: room was stuffy and noisy. Avoid rooms on the first floor if possible. Reception is very loud and can be heard in the rooms (mainly from reception staff). Internet connection is patchy. Some issues with the bill that were eventually resolved but showed some incompetence. Check your bill for additional charges that are not owed. A bit overpriced for what you get.

I stayed the night at this hotel, leaving my car near the entrance to the hotel, the car was stolen at night. the police are not interested in looking into this problem (they told me so) and the hotel management is rude to me when I ask to show the video from the surveillance cameras that were directed directly at my car. The hotel management says we won't show you anything, it's not our concern. Excuse me!? Why is this attitude towards people? I've been without a car for 6 months now. The police closed the case and the hotel deleted the video recordings. Rest in peace inadequate creatures.

Booked a one bedroom suite and it was wonderful. The reception might be a little understaffed - I could tell they’re a little stressed but nevertheless they were lovely. The rooftop is epic. The hotel’s food is really good. Location is fantastic. Really cosy and discreet if you’re into that.

A hidden gem in the heart of Hollywood. Los Angeles has its fair share of glitzy, glamorous hotels. But tucked away on a quiet street in West Hollywood, you'll find an utterly unique experience at the Petit Ermitage. This isn't just a place to stay; it's a journey into a world of bohemian charm, impeccable service, and unexpected delights. Let's not forget the rooftop oasis.
