Thank you for a great stay at the Pendry. I’d particular like to thank Adrienne on the Concierge for her friendly welcome and her help throughout my great. She was great. I’d also like to thank D’Lo and Carlos for their customer service, they were also so welcoming. The customer service really made a difference to my 12 days stay. I miss seeing them everyday!

We had an amazing stay last week at the Pendry West Hollywood! This was our first time visiting LA, and it did not disappoint! We were staying for my husband's birthday, so I contacted the concierge to help coordinate a couple surprises. Adrienne and Hector were SO helpful! They helped coordinate to have a cake and balloons waiting in the room upon our arrival. I wasn't sure how this would work and expected that something may come up during check-in, but everything went perfectly and when we got to the room, he was totally surprised! The room was super nice and clean. I couldn't believe how quiet it was given it's right on Sunset Blvd! We spent a lot of time at the rooftop pool, which was super fun and relaxing. We even had a celebrity sighting at the pool! One of our favorite things to do when we visit new cities is walk around and explore, and we were able to do that here; but wow, the hills are no joke. We didn't mind though because it was so beautiful. The trip couldn't have gone better and I owe a lot of that to Pendry. Thank you so much for making our stay so amazing! I can't wait to come back!

Management here does not really care for their customers. After being out a whole day and coming back to my room at 4pm to change and shower for evening activities, my room was not cleaned. I had to use dirty towels to dry myself off. When you think of a 5-star experience in WeHo, this definitely does not come to mind!
When I went to bring this issue up, I was lied to by front desk staff that they did not clean room since they wanted to maintain guest privacy and not enter my room unless I requested it to be cleaned. However, I was never told of this in check-in and this policy was not true when I asked the General Manager and others. If it was a real policy, they should have been upfront when I came to the hotel. I did not have a do not disturb sign either outside of my door. At a purported 5-star hotel, they should not lie to guests and also should be able to clean a room! Lesser hotels get this done right!
Besides being lied to, I have been ignored. While I was at the hotel, I had spoke with the General Manager about my bad experience and she said she would make it better for me. I was really happy to hear that and that you she listened to me. However, I wanted a broader conversation on what the proper hotel credit would entail. While I was leaving and entering an uber to go out one day, she came up to me proposed taking off $100 of incidentals, which I really did not think was fair after my experience / talking to family & friends. Given I had to hurry off as I was entering my uber during the convo, I was not able to have more than a 30 second exchange.
She said she would be able to speak with me more about my experience at check out. When I went to check out, she was not there. Disappointing, but the staff said they would email and call me back to finish up the conversation with her. A day goes by, no call or email. I call back checking in. Another few days go by, I call and let them know I still have yet to receive communication. I call again, and the same story. Now it has been almost two weeks, and I am being totally ignored.
I rarely write negative reviews, but this is a terrible way to treat a guest at a hotel. I would not recommend this place as they truly do not care about guests through their actions.
If you are reading this, I would like a call back / email back. Very unprofessional.

This is a great hotel. Service was very good. The rooftop pool is beautiful. Breakfast was great on the roof top.
As a heads up, the rooftop restaurant does not have a kids menu, and the dishes were a bit too adventurous for our 7 year old. We convinced them to let us order off the kids menu for room service. We definitely appreciated the accommodation.
Rooms were also a little small and include those trays and fridges filled with items that charge you automatically when removed. I'd prefer to just have the extra space. They also have minimal space for clothes. Most people are likely fine with the storage provided but we had 3 people in the room (2 adults and a 7 year old) so we did not have enough space.

Nearby activities: Universal is only 15 minutes away. Lots of great restaurants are also only a few mins drive away.

You will not be disappointed staying here. The best part for me is waking up early and having breakfast at the rooftop restaurant, with panoramic views of Los Angeles. Food is above average and noticeably fresh. The property is maintained well, museum level cleanliness. Staff are friendly and attentive.

We stayed at the Pendry for 4 nights as a family of 6. We had 2 interconnecting rooms with a queen bed and a fold out double bed in one, and two queen beds in the other. The hotel is well located on Sunset Boulevard and close to a couple of restaurants and easy access to public transport. Unfortunately being on Sunset Boulevard makes it quite noisy as well - especially overnight with emergency vehicles and loud cars driving past. We were on the 5th floor - which given the slope of the street meant we were only 2 levels up from street level. I would recommend asking for a room on the higher levels to reduce the noise.
The hotel has a small pool on the top floor with incredible views over LA and with ample seating in the shade.
The hotel also provides access to Cadillacs for guests to self-drive - once a day for upto 4 hours. This makes it super convenient to get around for short trips. There is also a games room in the basement with two ten pin bowling lanes.
The staff (especially the concierge) are very friendly and keen to assist.

I usually stay at the Pendry when I'm in town for business. Valet has always been so friendly and welcoming! I always greatly appreciate how well they take care of my car.
The regular king rooms are pretty small, but always VERY clean and cozy and the bathrooms are good sized. The suites are worth the upgrade.
Despite being right on Sunset, the rooms are very quiet. I've never had issues with traffic sound or loud neighbors in the hotel.
The pool and other amenities in the hotel are also very clean.
The restaurants I feel are a bit overpriced for the food and what you get, but the drinks are always poured well and mixed ones are strong.

This hotel is just beautiful. Great location and walking distance to many places! The suite was huge with 2 baths. The bed was so comfy. Would definitely stay there again.
