This is hands down the best gym I have ever been a member of. I’m very picky when it comes to choosing a gym. I moved here from abroad and was looking for a gym when I saw OPVS on google maps. The reviews were all positive so I decided to take a tour. I knew this gym was different from that moment. The owner gave me the tour, showed me around and made sure I felt a warm welcome. This place checks all the boxes for me: good people, beautiful design, quality equipment, great classes and some surprise amenities.
People: Everyone who works there is super kind. The gym always has the perfect amount of people. Not too busy, never totally empty. It’s been a great place to make friends. Folks are chill. It draws a great crowd of really interesting people.
Design: The space is really pleasant. Half of the gym is indoors and the other half is outdoors. Indoors is a rehabbed brick building with loads of charm. Outside is a shade space with lots of great equipment. It’s nice to workout while getting some fresh air.
Quality equipment: They have everything I need. Everything is always spotless. I have never had to wait for any equipment or machine.
Classes: I love the yoga and high intensity classes. It’s easy to book from the app.
Amenities: The cherry-on-top for me is the combo of Sauna and cold plunge. In the courtyard there are two free standing saunas. 95% of the time I have the sauna to myself. And there is no better way to end a workout than with a freezing cold punge.
This has to be one of LA’s best boutique gyms.

This gym is the real deal. My partner and I have been part of the gym for the last year and it is arguably the best gym we have ever been to. We are leaving because of job relocation and this gym and the community here is one of our top reasons we are sad to be moving from the area.
Joël and his team have created an exceptional environment to work out in - the gym is never too crowded, everyone is friendly, and the equipment is spotless and top of the line.
Not only that, they are expanding soon!
I couldn't recommend this gym enough - we will miss them greatly!

Great vibe, friendly owners, clean boutique gym. Much better energy than Crunch which has gone way downhill. Glad I found OPVS! Feels more like a community.

They don’t do day passes (as a visitor) but do reasonably priced week passes. Staff friendly, very modern equipment, clean and cool premises and with a good vibe. Nice outside area too with an ice bath. Good stock of pre-workouts and protein.

Tried checking out this place around 3pm one day as I was looking for a new gym. Someone opened the door and told me I had to give a business card to one of the owners and they might have a spot but the owners weren't there. Email a business card and they might get back to me... Really? No thank you. Obviously, I chose somewhere else. I've heard good things but I'm not trying to grovel for a gym membership.

Magnvm Opvs is such a wonderful private space to workout. And, unlike many luxury gyms, the trainers and the clients all say hello. And you feel like you’re part of a family. Derek Yates is a top notch trainer. And, you are greeted by Sky, Billy and Chris at the front desk — all friendly and welcoming!

Best gym in West Hollywood. Joel and Cody have built an awesome space that’s never crowded, always clean, and has every piece of equipment you could need and more. There is a great outdoor space, as well as several large areas inside the gym for working out. Definitely check this place out if you’re looking for a great gym. They also have personal training packages with some of the best trainers in the area!
