I want to like this place, but the reality is they are the only the only they are the only option nearby without getting stuck in traffic. Their return policy is terrible. Its a tool store that doesnt allow tool returns even if unopened. Prices are always high and the selection isn't as good as it used to be. I sure wish there were a really good hardware store in weho

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff who are actually in the aisles ready to help find what you're looking for and answer questions. It's an old school hardware store, not a big, 'try to fill all your needs' place like Lowe's or Home Depot, which often do not have what I'm looking for. Koontz is my go to place for hardware when I need something and don't want to run all over town looking for it in other stores.

Just called them for an item that lists as in-stock on-line and was met with a very disinterested person on the phone. Very little effort put into helping with finding an item. This seems to be the norm for customer service established since the 'New Norm.' I was willing to drive the 2 hours to the store to purchase the items if they would have been of more help.

This is a really brilliant shop. Are they are incredibly helpful and have everything. It's also really good to use a local hardware store as opposed to a big one.

They have household items even Home Depot doesn't have, and there's always plenty of knowledgeable people to help you right away. I wouldn't go anywhere else, Kuntz is the best.

The best service you can ask for at a hardware store! I'm not sure if it's family owned but it sure feels like it, they are very happy and eager to help you not like a Home Depot where it's a fend for yourself mentality. They have everything! From crafting supplies to paint to dishware! Love our neighborhood hardware store and not to mention there's free parking smack in the middle of Weho!
