Skip this place. Better prices and professional customer service at so many other places nearby. The old guy is creepy. Was asking me personal questions. Very weird. It's probably why the ratings are so low. Who wants to be creeped out while shopping? Ewww.

Nothing particularly “fine” about this place. Small selection and not everything has price tags on it, so you have to keep asking them about the prices of things, and they keep having to grab the bottle and scan it.

I have been shopping at this place for a long time. They are knowledgeable and very helpful.. I called yesterday to order a few things. When I went there this morning, everything was ready. I paid for everything and I think Fred helped me to put everything in my car.. What more do I want. Thank you for all your help!! The Chateau La Costed lady

Been coming here for 15 years buying odds and ends for lunch. Frozen burritos, bags of chips, mints etc. Always paid in paper bills, never made a big deal about prices or anything, its a Sunset liquor store, you pay for the location. Today, I was refused service because I brought a handful of change to pay for a $2.30 bag of chips. The geriatric mummy who owns the place told me he doesn't accept money "like that" and I need to give them rolled coins or bills. Never again.

Because I arrived shortly past midnight, saw the manager inside, but the door was locked and he refused to open it even though it was nearly two hours before the official closing time. He was counting out the till, and I'm a tiny woman, so it wasn't that he felt threatened. There was just someplace else he'd rather be.

I ordered wine shipped to me from Gil's. The wine was delivered for Gil's by GLS courrier service. I received an email stating I must be home to sign for the delivery so I reorganized my work schedule to be home. GLS not only delivered it to my BACK door but did not get a signature (I was home).I called Gil Turner's and told the manager that the service they hired did not comply with the law for signature, and delivered it to my *back door.*The manager, "REDD," acted disinterested. He said, "What do you want me to do? GLS is like Fed Express... they don't care." He also added that he was busy and didn't have time to call them. I reminded him that I, too, was busy but thought Gil's should know their delivery service was subpar so I took the time to offer the feedback.It's obvious Gil Turner's doesn't care about their customers' experience, nor does it care if the company they contracted with for delivery follows the law or delivers the parcel to a back door vs the front.

We had the pleasure of dining at this Wine Shop, and the wine was excellent! The rear terrace is really pleasant and serene.t's a great way to try out a variety of wines. Take a group, and you will have a great time!
