It’s true that staff members will have videographers film you without your consent. If you show up to a class you have no way of knowing in advance or even by greeting the teacher that a photographer is going to appear and begin filming you. Ridiculous disrespectful practice. I have proof of this, I took pics of the videographer and teacher. I informed the front desk staff that I was appalled and they apologized and acknowledged that even they do not sign up for certain classes bc they don’t know when the videographer is going to show up.If the club responds “this doesn’t sound right”, as they tend to do after other negative reviews, that’s misleading and false, because it is what happened and happens at this equinox West Hollywood club. Multiple staff members were informed , acknowledged it was true, and I have proof. What’s almost worse is the weak response by the company, which just escalates the issue instead of even attempting to make it right.

I LOVE this club! I belong to all the So Cal Equinox clubs and this one surpasses them all - I walk in and, unlike the other clubs, I'm greeted by the FABULOUS Connnor who offered to give me one of the most enthusiastic and friendly and informative tours! Which was way above and beyond because I was already a member and just expected someone to point to the women's lockers as usual. BUT! Connor made me feel happy and right at home in this new club that will be my go to from now on. Why? Because of people like Connor and the facilities! They have THREE ab machines!!! He even said this was the best of all the Equinox clubs. And he's right!!!

I was an EQ member for 11 years here in LA but the Weho location is not worth the price anymore. It is now common place for members to take Bluetooth meetings all over the club. Literally people are talking at their loudest voice in every direction. I was on the treadmill and someone to my left was coaching his employee and the right was literally conducting a zoom meeting. All of this I can hear over my music at the loudest level. Customers leave weights all over the floor like spoiled children. And the equipment is dated. So I walked to John Reed and you know what? It's not crowded and the equipment is new. I'll try this for a while.

Please air tag your gym bags. My bag was stolen from the locker room at this location. I have an all access membership and this club is not my favorite. The only reason I go is because my favorite instructor teaches at this location.

I actually love this Equinox! They have fun variety of classes. The round boxing is by far my favorite. Their Yoga and Pilates are also really good. The facility is clean, staffs are very nice and helpful. It gets very busy around 5-8 but still there is enough equipment for everyone.

They have been adding way too many new members for the same amount of equipment. Unless you come in the middle of the day, you will have to wait for equipment and it is not unusual that every machine you want to used for the day is taken. Many member spend too much time on their phones and use benches as a side table for their personal items blocking others from using them. Renovations to update the dated look have been planned since 2018 and have not taken place yet.

Worst costumer service, my wife is trying to sign up for 2 month now and they have her go back and forth without signing her up! They send tons of email but treat you like crap

Here I am updating my review. I think (don't quote me on this) they fixed the ceiling leaking issue. Now if you're in the cycling room, which is painted black all around (ceiling included) you'll probably get distracted by the white plaster on the ceiling that makes the ceiling look more like a cowhide or even a Dalmatian. But it's ok- my rate is increasing next billing cycle... I'm sure it'll finally get fixed. lol

Overcrowded and needs new, updated, and more equipment. The amount of equipment they have is enough for about 60% of the number of members they have now. Also, they keep raising membership prices every year by almost 10 % a year. Used to be a nice gym when I joined back in 2007. Now, it has become garbage.
