I love this pawnshop! The two gentlemen that work there are always very polite and helpful and offer great prices always! It's always my go-to pawnshop. Never had any bad experiences with the business. I always recommend this shop as the #1 place to go to my friends or anyone who asks.

I have lived in LA and other major cities across the globe for a very long time. I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that this is not only the best pawn shop in the world but probably one of the greatest stores in general. Period. When you step in, you feel as if you entered a world of magic and wonders. I felt like I was a child again, It's truly a sight to behold. The staff is genuine, warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. It is not as if you are dealing with automatons but actual human beings. If I can find a 7 star ? I'd gladly give it. A breath of fresh air and then some.Sincerely,D

Such AMAZING place, with an even more amazing staff! Everyone there, including Eliott himself, are SUPER HELPFUL, and super FRIENDLY! Never gone in to see them not smiling...they'll make you feel like a friend, and not an item! (like most other places)The deals are super fair, and treasures you could find, are endless! Elliott Salter is the best!! I've been coming here for decades in my time of need. You never know what will happen in life, for instance when you unexpectedly got knocked upside your head with things like the severe worldwide financial crisis of 2007-2008, or the living nightmare everyone experienced called COVID, among other life changes you just don't see coming. Elliott Salter is a lifeline in your time of need. One time I came in with a guitar I really never used yet didn't want to part with so being in need of some cash I took it to Elliott Salter Pawnshop, upon inspecting it one of his crew noticed the output jack was totally loose to the point of practically dangling. Did he turn me away? No, he took the time to see if he had a part needed to get it working and fixed it on the spot!! Elliott and his entire crew are simply the best.Another review here states that Elliott Salter is a "Hollywood Legend"....... He certainly is.

I needed a loan to cover rent a few months ago. I had a ring and was given a fair price for it. The Guy's at Elliott's shop are cool , honest, and helped out at a really bad time in my life. This week, I payed back my loan and got book my ring. Can't thank these guys enough!
