I was visiting from abroad and made a special trip to Boot Star to purchase the boots of my dreams. To my delight, the whole experience was wonderful! I smile when I wear them and I tell everyone about this perfect little shop where they focus on quality and personalized service.

Wife and I were in 6 months ago during the LA marathon. Of course needed an excuse to go shopping! Discovered Boot Star and immediately fell in love with the aesthetic of the store and the quality of the product. Tried on a bunch of boots and found a pair that I loved, unfortunately didn't have my size. No problem, Chrissy helped me do a special order that was just delivered. SO worth the wait. These boots are amazing and super high quality. PS. I'm a huge Ralph Lauren fan (they carry some RL) and these boots would get his seal of approval :) Thanks you guys, we'll be back very soon for the 2nd pair!

Beautiful store and a wide choice of western wear, high quality items. I unfortunately couldn’t find my size but the staff was very helpful and courteous. The timeframe for receiving a new order in my size would have been too long so I didn’t order, that’s because their boots are high quality and take time to be manufactured.

Howdy, cowboys and cowgirls! This store is for you! Tons and tons of cowboy boots both vintage and new line the shelves. Stenson hats to complete your outfit. Also really cool gear and accessories that any modern cowboy or cowgirl could only dream of to complete their look. If you are into Western and Americana, don't hold your horses! Saddle 'em up and ride on down to Boot Star. Located at Sunset Plaza. Free parking in back. Yee-haw!

BOOT STAR in my opinion, is the best western boot shop I've ever been in. They recently moved down the street to much larger and cooler store on Sunset Plaza....with free parking in back (very good) I wanted a discontinued Old Gringo style called Diaz. I've been looking for a used pair of them on e-Bay and Google for more than 10 yrs. I actually stopped in to see if they sold used boots and Scott asked me what I was looking for and when I told him, he said he could get those made for me, to my specifications and at a fair price. I was like, no way! He assured me he could and so I put down a deposit and waited. I got em the day before Christmas. I cant believe it.....they're perfect! I wanted them to be ankle boots because the jeans are too tight at the bottom these days for tall boots. I also wanted them distressed looking .. and Scott recommended making the toe a little shorter; which was a good idea because I'm not that tall, so it's more proportionate for me. I havent taken them off since I got them and they're finally broke in and so comfortable. I liked them so much I ordered them in another color and I might even order them in another color too. They have the best variety of brands and styles and if you're not 100% sure about what you want , customize them. Scott & his wife Chris know boots. You can say I want that toe, that heel, that color and they say no problem. They also have great hats, belts and shirts. Men & women. Stop in and check it out and their beautiful dogs too.

We made our way specifically to Boot Star and I have to confess I was reluctant about taking an Uber to go shopping. I was mistaken. This fabulous store is a destination in itself. We purchased a jacket and boots, and on reflection, I wish we had bought more. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and made us feel welcome. Highly recommended.

Bought a pair of boots here and just love them! Quality seem great and definitely look to be from Mexico where some of the best leather for boots jackets and hats come from. They have some unique styles.

Oh dear - if your feet are made for walking, you need to put some boots on! This place has the best of the best selection of boots. You can find the one that fits you best. I walked in, loved a vintage pair, and have been wearing them since. The owners are the sweetest couple and their customer service is tops. Thank you~

On the hunt for baby-pink cowboy boots to wear to a wedding. Stopped in Boot Star, yesterday, with my husband. It is off the Sunset strip so traffic/parking in the area is a little rough. We parked on a side street and walked down the hill only to discover there is a teensy parking lot in front where one may be lucky enough to get one of the 3-4 spots. We entered the store, gave ourselves a tour of what they had, I didn't see any pink boots and the people working there did not make themselves known until we were leaving and they said "have a good day". I was a little disappointed at the lack of trying. A store full of beautiful boots! Yet no one greeted us or asked what we were looking for; no conversation, no suggestions, no inquiries, just good bye. The hunt continues.
