Very helpful, professional and patient staff. Followed Covid precautions and were very understanding of my urgent situation with my cat. They are wonderful!

Very unhappy with the charges, and even a charge for my cat’s nail trim. The prices from two yrs ago to now, were shocking. I won’t return; I can’t afford it, nor like to be taken advantage of, or feel abused. It’s caused me to decline services and much anxiety about this vet clinic and others. The fees are just not right!

I can't even put into words how incredible this place is. Everyone there genuinely cares about the animals they see. They don't try to upsell you like most vets do. They are so kind and compassionate and they know what they're doing and they're great at it. If I could give 100 stars I would. Would definitely recommend anyone to go here for their animals vet needs!! Thank you all so much for everything!

I brought my dogs here for annual rabies and shots! I must have repeated myself 3 times saying both dogs needed rabies shots! What happened!? Only 1 of 2 got the rabies shots! I expressed my anxious dog needed to be brought in with my other dog that was there for the same service! I made sure they understood that but upon arrival! With all the questions and treatment plans they wanted to tell me about I was frazzled! My $250 visit immediately jumped up to $600 all because they failed to take into accountability I had expressed that my anxious dog does best with my other dog. By the grace of god my other dog was brought back and my anxious dog was immediately calm and able to have her physical exam. My advice is to have them make sure they read all the notes you give them! If that wasn't enough! They charged me $52 for expressing my dogs glands... my dog was scooting for the next 3 days! I called back and the doctor, not the technician told me that the technician didn't do it correctly. Why the hell are they charging so much if they can't do it correctly? I moved here a couple years ago and I've had my dog for 7 years! She is above and beyond friendly but I saw that she is uncomfortable with this place. I see it in her actions and how she approaches the staff. This is new to me, my dogs went to Dr Ron's in Simi no problem! She was excited! This makes me question the staff and their service. After looking them up on yelp it seems my worries are backed by other customer reviews. Shame on west hills animal hospital for overcharging! Having separate charges from pulling dogs in the back versus having the exam done in that came room! And their over priced services. They lost a customer and I will for sure make sure that everyone I come in contact with knows this.

Just like most vet centers- too expensive. Understandable that these services are pricey, but $700+ for a single cat spay service is not going to attract any new clients or encourage folks to spay/neuter their pets. We live in the neighborhood and they have always been too expensive for us- then again with wealthier folks in this community, it's clear they stay in business just fine.

The reception and waiting area is small, crowded and often noisy (due to people, not animals). Nevertheless, the office staff, technicians and Dr Lawson provide excellent care for your pets.

We had a great first time visit having just moved to West Hills! All three of our cats had their annual wellness exams, vaccinations, and bloodwork during the visit. The dr and staff were really friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough when talking through their history. We were very impressed that on top of that, when it came time to do the bloodwork and vaccinations, we did not need to wait very long at all. They seem very well organized and checking out was fast as well. We are very happy with West Hills Animal Hospital!

Been coming to this facility for the last three years. I've noticed a decline in the service that my pet and self have been receiving; while getting a significant increase in costs. The former caring staff seems to have all been let go or resigned. Was being charged triple the cost of medications I was told I could not order online or from Costco. Found out after a year of being overcharged; that I could have ordered the medications online from the beginning. Also noticed a constant of the staff constantly upselling/ recommending optional (expensive) testing that wasn't required.

The facility is so clean, it doesn't even smell like a veterinarian office! The staff is lovely. They are friendly, helpful, and caring. I wish i could give them 5 stars, however the quote for my male cat neuter came back at $848. Even if it had come back at $300 or so I would have just dealt with it. If you're looking for a vet office that is sparkling clean, with a friendly and accommodating staff, then absolutely go here. The regular vet visit for my 2 new kittens was steep, but not insurmountable, after I declined a couple tests. They do offer an in- house vet care plan that may be attractive to some. I am declining it because I'll be seeking a mobile service in the near future.
