July 23rd I made an appointment and was seen by Rachel who was professional, compassionate, and efficient. I really appreciate her care.

Kind, efficient phlebotomists. Convenient location at West Hills. Easy to make appointments. Thank you!
However check-in is not easy for everyone. I'm ok with it but I see a lot of people struggle. It would be nice to have a human to help at check-in.

The staff were nice but the tape she put over the gauze where my blood was taken shredded my skin when I peeled ot off! Ask for a bandaid over it seriously!!

Booked an appointment and showed 15 minutes before it.
The staff called names not on the list and some people walked in without being called
Waiting already 25 minutes

Once you are checked in online and on the cell phone, everything goes smoothly. You are in and out fast if you have an appointment. I made my appointment online and I was quite satisfied.

Absolute garbage, American healthcare at its finest with profits over patients. No front desk staff and a propaganda reel on loop.

Checked in under the walk in option at 4:15pm. Nobody was at the lobby. Could hear the phlebotomist talking in the back. Finally someone came out but said they couldn't see me because they were closing soon. People like these do not belong in Healthcare services.

My feelings about Quest Diagnostics ..
The customer service from Quest is that of I don't care about patients and/or even worse. You (Quest) lack the proper desire to satisfy customers and have no customer service to attend to the needs of people/patients properly. You have decided to do away with designated customer service employees so you can profit from all patients while servicing your money needs. I hope you can take some of those earnings and invest into helping people properly and with amicable care at the time of people walking into your facilities. Thanks for making customers feel helpless and unappreciated by your lack of commitment to those who make you money (the patients). You, means Quest, so you only care about the companies you do business with (health insurance companies) and do little to increase the effectiveness of patient care. Your company (Quest) and its leadership should be ashamed of all the tricks you all have placed into service (not servicing the patients) for your own benefit regardless of how the patients feel.

No front desk, they have walk in option, but even if you have the only one in walk in list, you have to seat about 2 hours. No body there to help you check in when you have appointment. It takes time to find how should you do it yourself, and then the screen shows “ sorry you are 1 minute late” !!!!!!! Ok, ask somebody help. No body there…. Eventually door opens. A hurry person open the door and you explain I was trying to check in but takes time and now I’m late 1 min. She even doesn’t listen carefully… ok go try walk in and have a seat…. Now I’m here 2 hours for 1 min late and even I am the first person on walk in list. If you can’t handle it simply sign “no walk in”. Ridiculous

The phlebotomist wisely asked for help from a more experienced colleague when she saw how difficult my veins are. The blood draw was nearly painless and left no bruising at all. Kudos!

The lady that takes my blood almost every time is friendly and makes me comfortable. The only issue I did have wasn’t with myself. An elderly man with no advocate and no ability to use technology was told he had to sign in but he couldn’t use the kiosk, had no email or any idea how to use a computer. I told him to wait and I’d get him help but by the time I was out a few minutes later he was gone. They do need to figure out a way to better serve the aging community that doesn’t require electronics and sitting in the waiting room for a period of time.

2 hours of waiting for a basic blood work. Clearly they don't have any competition.
