The customer service lady from yesterday , older lady, was RUDE! I'm not sure where or who trained her when it comes to dealing with customers and assisting them when the need arises, but she FAILED the test! I would never write a review such as this but the way this lady handled customers yesterday including myself warranted this review. First of all, the place is clean. Well organized which is shocking given that this is a crafts place so I need to leave this positive remark about the place. Now, back to the lady. When one of the self-check out kiosk didn't work, I called out for assistance, and she ignored me. So I stood there for over 10 minutes waiting for someone and nobody showed up. So, I said," excuse me, could you please call for someone to assist me?" She looked and immediately said, "Just wait!" Now, in my head, I'm debating whether I should rip her a new one but thought, "Nah, just because she's having a bad day doesn't mean I should allow her to affect me!" So, she finally decided to come over my area, pressed a few buttons here and there and my receipt printed. I'm annoyed to think this is the attitude from someone who works in customer service. Second, why is this even allowed? Where's Management when you need someone? Anyway, I'm giving this place a two star simply because customer service attitude from your staff needs improvement!!

The woman who was working in the frame department on April 6th at 9 am annoyed me. The place was empty, I had a print that I needed to cut so I could buy an appropriate frame for it. It was a picture of my parents house that I wanted to give them to hang in the retirement home they are moving to. I just needed two inches cut off each side and then I was going to buy a frame. When I asked her if she could cut it she said no. I asked why and she said she had other orders to work on. It would have taken her less than a minute. The place was empty. She took more time explaining why she can't do it than it would have taken to cut it. I didn't push the issue, I just left without buying a frame and then came here to tattle on her. I will never go to a Michael's again, which I'm sure they don't care about but maybe someone will read this and talk to their employees about customer service. Or maybe not. Makes no difference to me, I'm no longer a customer.

This review is for the complete and utter incompetence demonstrated by the framing department. Do yourself a favor and get your framing done elsewhere. We dropped off an order on 1/24. It was promised 3 frame jobs to be completed in 2 weeks. They missed that day and gave me a discount. Now, 60 plus days later, the two of the three are completed. They said they weren't capable of framing the box around a wall hanging. They also neglected to communicate anything at all about this at any time. This place is a clown show.

Michaels has everything you will ever need in way of arts and crafts. They have classes to teach you things from painting to making a wreath. They are full of ideas. You can always find all sorts of ideas and craft packages for kids to make. I was in a rut because I ordered a bunch of crafts from a company for my Sunday School students to make. No one seems to sell religious arts and crafts in stores but I found them at Michael's. It wasn't big selection but I was grateful to find what I did. I actually met the late David McCallum there picking up some crafts. They have sketching, painting, floral, candles & candle making kits. They have gemstones and findings for making jewelry, wood crafts for painting as well as Canvasses. It's really wonderful just how much they have. All the personnel know about everything you need to find and make something and how to do it. Michael's makes the world a better place.

I was looking for coin collecting supplies but unfortunately they did not carry what I needed.The employees were pleasant and tried to help so of course I want to thank them for their professionalism.

I was told I could return an online item in store. When I went to the store, they said they could not help me. I called customer service to verify and when back to the store. Still no. I've been getting passed around Michael's and no one seems to know how to operate the business nor seems to care

Michael's itself is fine... But what I am HATING is the trend to have self check out. There was 30 people waiting in line and all they did was funnel people to the self check out.Listen Mike, if you want us to come to your stores instead of buying online then you should make the pace feel homey. Online is flat out easier but we come to brick and motar places to touch and feel the products and feel like we can ask people questions. Things you can't do online. What's nice about Michaels is the commonality of people creating. Take out any of the human element of that and you fail. Now granted I don't own a huge corporation but these CEOs have it way wrong.I guess the stocks will tell us who's right.

The staff at this location are extremely helpful, professional and kind. They all go above and beyond to assist their customers. Aury the MOD- was extremely professional and so genuine and always was willing to assist and spend the time to answer any questions I had and took her time to walk me to specific aisles I needed to go to and made sure I found what I needed at the time Danny- I needed help to carry some stuff to my car and he was more than happy to help me out and carry the stuff for me and assist me. John G. Spent a good amount of time to help me find the correct size of frames I needed and helped me with figuring out the best frames for my paintings. Mikey- so friendly and has great humor and took his time to help me figure out what exactly I needed for a certain project I recently started on. Amazing staff and extremely helpful.
