I give Nasrin 1 star, but store 5 star
I recently had a very disappointing experience at the Dollar Tree in West Hill with an employee named Nasreen. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. I went in to return three items with my receipt, two of which were the same. Nasreen only accepted one item, refusing the other two. She claimed she couldn't take one with valid reasons despite everything being wrapped and unopened same time purchased about 2 weeks and it was in the back of my trunk. Her attitude was mean and unwelcoming. I’ve been shopping at this Dollar Tree for the past 20 years and have never encountered such poor customer service. Nasreen is not qualified to work at this location. Everyone else is nice. I think the managment title is power ego.
Get some serious training on managment.

Dim, quiet, and a bit of sadness like other dollar stores. People shop here for what they need. Employees only do what they need to do.

Just stood in a line that went all the way to the back of the store. One man cashier. Did not call for back up. A customer complained after he left to spend time straightening the shopping carts. The other older lady who came after 10 minutes to ring insisted that he was taking his required break. And argued instead of just saying I'm sorry for the long wait. Line runs to the back of store over 80% of the time. In line listening to some angry customers. And for a good reason. Start hiring or get new manager and store would be great. Employee's can be seen wandering around store when there is literally 25 people in line.The 99 cent store in Winnetka is in and out in few minutes. Recommend them till they get it together.

December 15th, 2023The bathrooms were dirty and graffiti was almost everywhere. Only one register was open making it a long line. Some of the store have items in random places. There seemed to be only two employees that I saw working too.

Love the Dollar Tree , I can always count on finding things that I need for project without hurting my pockets. It it doesn't work out at least it didn't cost much. Perfect for DIY projects. Specially holidays there are always have a good selection of items. They staff is nice no complaints.

Never any helium, balloons that they do have blown up they wouldn't sell to me because the cashier was lazy and wouldn't get one down. Their smaller balloons that they're selling are a joke and deflated. At this point take down your balloons and stop acting like you sell them.... They never have helium any time I have gone in the last 2 years. Cashier didn't even ask me for a bag and when I had asked for one after I paid she goes "10 cents. Do you want?" Um yeah if you had asked I would have paid with my stuff but now I'm supposed to pull 10 cents out ? Yeah this place is a joke. Not to mention the lines are atrocious and the store is a MESS. Don't waste your time here. Spend the time and gas and go to a different dollar tree.

Dollar Tree is always a great place to go to when you need a small item or diy item. The afternoons here are very busy, so you can't get in and out, if that's your way of shopping. Otherwise, this location has some good finds. I was shopping in the gift wrap section. They had a lot of different options of wrapping paper to choose from. Parking is easy since it's in a big shopping complex.
