Let me preface this with I appreciate the doctor and everyone else who have taken care of the needs of my pet. That being said this is the second time I have witnessed a white skinny woman with DARK RED HAIR, GLASSES, who works at the front desk say something I feel is offensive toward Hispanic/Latino people. First off assuming they can’t speak English is rude and ignorant, red head lady. Both incidents I heard her say to her co-workers (very loud might I add) as a Hispanic woman came walking up the clinic and say “oh she speaks Spanish.” And guess what the woman spoke English AND SPANISH! Another time, she spoke about the client (who only spoke Spanish) in front of them in English about them like they weren’t there. Lady this is a predominantly Hispanic/Latino area. Maybe you, RED HEAD LADY, should learn some basic Spanish. Maybe you’ll understand something who knows. And that goes for the rest of the ones at the desk who couldn’t stand up and translate.I’ve read one other comment of this particular woman and her rudeness, which if the owners of the clinic don’t do something about educating your employees on basic manners I don’t know what will happen.

Long over due review. I have to make it because of the recent call we made. The person over the phone was unprofessional and rude. We asked for an available appointment, and without even asking she just said next Monday. She explained that if we would bring her in the afternoon and she(dog) needed exrays, they wouldn't do it because they won't stay late. What a horrible customer service receptionist. Btw, we had taken our dog for a check-up, and they did some test and, to this day, not heard from them. This was 6-7 months back and not a voice mail. I had given up on writing our review back then, but today was just a reminder. This is MY review of this establishment. I hope you all have a better one if you decide to visit them.

Came here to get my dogs ears clipped and he did the worst job ever. I should’ve read my dogs character the second time we came back because he did not like Dr.B. Horrible ear crop he left stitches in my docs ear and wrapped them so poorly i had to do it myself. They are also all very rude and unwelcoming. Do not come here

Was the only office that would accept my dog for a last minute appointment, my shih tzu was having some issues. They were professional and very kind. Will now be making the drive to this vet for their services. Prices are very reasonable.

if I can give them a big ZERO I would, this place is a joke, I got a puppy and brought it to get checked, I purchased the puppy pack that includes all the shots an a chip, I only used the first set of shots because my puppy got sick and passed away. I've taken all my animals here (5). so I asked if I can get credit for whatever I didn't use for one of my cats that needed to be spayed and they said NO, no money back and no credit, I wasn't asking for my money back, i had already payed for services that I wasn't going to get because my puppy passed, no empathy at all from these people, all they care is for is the money. I will be taking my animals somewhere else

My dog come comes here to get his shots, it's a nice place; but sometimes the wait time is extremely exaggerated. There is no reason for them operating so slowly.

Wait time took a long time even though we had an appointment. Appointment was for 4:30 waited about 30 min to go in to a room. Vet came in and didn't acknowledge us or ask anything about my dog. Just started touching him giving him the exam and said oh yeah the eye has a mass and get him fixed and left. Then assistant came in with the bill of all the procedures the vet wanted my dog to have done. For what I'm going to pay I rather have a vet that is going to take time to ask about my dog and tell me what he recommends instead of just send info on the bill. I wouldn't want to pay all the money to a vet that doesn't care enough about my dog.

I had the unfortunate experience of working there for maybe 2 months. This was not my first time working at an animal hospital and my previous experiences were amazing! This was definitely not the case at this Hospital. Completely unorganized, 100% filthy and unsanitary, and just people there who do not care. I was interviewed and hired by the doctor himself as a receptionist. That lasted 5 minutes before I was pulled and pushed into 17 different things all at once. I wanted to help and I wanted to be an asset to my coworkers so I pitched in wherever I could. I soon found out how poorly the receptionists treated the people who came in with their pets. Not acknowledging them not welcoming them and pointing them two rooms. The technicians were doing things the doctor should have been doing and helping with all by themselves including surgeries? It made me sick to my stomach how filthy run down and disgusting the hospital was and even more that I was reprimanded for wanting to clean and make it sanitary for the pets and the owners. Needless to say after being mistreated, totally being taken advantage of and having a very disturbed employee threaten me, scream at me, and throw complete bits and Tantrums in front of the clients I was let go over a text message with no reason or explanation at all. The technicians were overworked and talked to very disrespectfully by the doctor. Not having any breaks nor lunches on most occasions. I knew it was coming but was hoping for the best three employees had to leave for their own sanity. I've never worked for a hospital or doctors who would allow such ridiculous Behavior. Completely unprofessional and a complete rip-off. Good luck and blessings to all

Great staff and friendly people. Only reason why it's not a 4 or 5 star is the wait time. Even with an appointment made, you'll end up waiting 30-40 min for check up. I would recommend arriving 20 min early for your appointment. All in all, my only critique would be that.

While I was on vacation and my dog was at a pet daycare she became ill and not breathing right. Feeling helpless miles away in Hawaii, I called seven different hospitals and NONE would take her not even after stating it was an emergency and she needed to be seen right away. When I called West Covina Pet Hospital as soon as I said my dog needed to be seen, immediately she said bring her in right away and that they would be waiting for her. The minute my son walked into the hospital they immediately walked to my son and took her into the back to be seen right away. Sadly to say, as I'm tearing up while writing this my sweet princess Bella passed the same day. Dr. B did everything he could for my dog, he comforted my son let him see Bella as long as he needed. I came back from Hawaii and wanted to thank him and his wonderful staff for all they did. She ended up having some kind of infection. The doctor is such an angel, he talked to me and explained any questions I had in detail. He was sincere and genuine. He made me feel like he was always my doctor with such great service and it was my first time meeting him. I wish I had taken my dog to him sooner not Banfield hospital, maybe my Bella would still be here today. I am beyond grateful and would definitely come back with my new pet for care. Thank you all for the wonderful experience each and everyone of you provided.

I came to this vet to bring in my sick dog, and the doctor was very bland and not answering any questions that i had about medication and my dogs x-rays. He also yelled at the other employees in front of me and others in the vet. Then they made me pay for 10 days of medication and a blood test ‘to see what was really wrong with her’ and I was supposed to receive a call back. I never got the call for the results and I payed almost 140 for the blood tests. I told the doctor my pet was not eating or drinking, and prescribed me oral food for my dog anyways that needed to be given with food. Then i had to pay for ten days of said medication, bringing my total to $517 dollars. When I asked if the medication was even worth it, or if the doctor saw my dog as too sick. He said the medication was needed and charged me the ten days worth, but sadly my dog passed away 2 days later.
