I called today and spoke to Asia at West Covina Jeep service department, to make an appointment. I asked are there any appointments available for this week? Asia said “yes” I said great can O make one please. Asia said “can I get the VIN number?” My response was “I don’t have the VIN handy because I am making this appointment for someone else.” Asia repeated “Can I have the VIN so I can pull up the information?” I stated AGAIN I don’t have the information available. Then, Asia said well I need it to pull up the account. I mentioned the appointment is for my girlfriend and she has never been to this dealer. I asked”can I just make an appointment and the information get collected once she arrives as they do at other Jeep dealers? Asia repeated “we need the VIN” I said so is this Jeep dealer different than other Jeep dealers?” Rather than answer the question Asia said”hold on” I was on hold for 6 minutes and I realized she wanted coming back to the line. I have 2 phones so while one phone was on hold I called the dealership and pressed 2 for service and guess who answered? The same woman I was speaking with. I asked what her name was and she hesitated and said “service” I asked “who am I speaking with?” And with hesitation she replied”Asia” I said thank you and disconnected. I can tell with her hesitation and the tone change on her voice she realized I was the caller that she RUDELY kept on hold. I don’t know her mechanical skills, but her customer service skills are subpar. Thanks Asia my family will NEVER come bring this dealership business as a result of your service. I can see why this place is rated 1 star it is an appropriate rating.
