The Absolute worst management.. First I check in and everything seems fine and as soon as I get in the room as soon as Im about to sleep I hear cop-like knocking its the manager asking if my car is blocking the driveway I answer no it's not.
A day after I check out I find out they over-charged me, I email them screenshot of the double charge, the lady's answer is dispute it with your bank!!!!!
I have never ever ever seen as horrible management.rooms are okey if you wanna risk this.

**SCAMMERS**
I had a booking through Agoda, but there was a mistake made when booking, the name was my username and not my legal name, I had my receipt and explained the situation to the person at the front desk. After going back and 6 asked agoda for help, to which they said it was up to the person who runs the place to change it or simply cancel my booking, which 4he refused. Not only did he refuse, he said he would only cancel if agoda calls them and tells them to cancel, which they did and knowingly did not pick up!! They refuse to let me check in and STOLE MY MONEY!! This is not the first bad experience I've had with them, the last time they asked for a deposit on my son OUT OF NOWHERE, but the previous time they had not asked for it, I had only the right amount for the usual deposit, as my husband is pleading with the RUDE woman in the front, the guy behind us paid for it and the woman got so angry and made a nasty expression. I have never in my life felt with such disrespectful staff, and the employees don't even know when a person in charge will be there. They are mean RUDE and downright nasty, they are okay with taking your money and letting you sleep on the streets in cold weather
Rooms: The rooms are dirty, there are bugs and the pull out couches are stained. Don't waste your money here!

Additional Comments To The Ridiculous Reply on 2/27/24
These are not false claims we have video and picture evidence as well and if this matter goes any further we will be considering legal actions. This is not for monetary reasons this is so people know where not to spend their hard earned money.
The day of the incident no one came to check the shower when it happened. Instead he dismissed us and didn’t want to help because they know what kind of place they’re running. This is not how a business should reply to a unsatisfied CUSTOMER. Implying that we’re stupid enough to not know how to use a shower is bizarre. Regardless the temperature should not have been scolding hot especially for someone who is older and diabetic. My funds should not be a topic of your interest you got paid for the horrible service and dirty messed up room so to imply anything else is highly unnecessary and disrespectful. How you and your staff handle business is horrible. You shouldn’t reply to customers in such a rude and condescending way and if this is how you’re going to handle your business or customers you definitely should not be in the customer service field.

Disappointing Stay
I recently stayed here with my mother from February 13 2024 thru February 15 2024. The shower head and faucet were broken. The shower and faucet were running at the same time. The water from the faucet was extremely hot and the water in the tub didn’t go down due to poor drainage. Not only the water fail to drain properly but I also sustained burns from the scolding hot water when attempting to adjust the temperature. The bed sheets and pillows covers were covered in black stains, which is totally unacceptable and unsanitary I asked the front attendant how often do they change the bedding and he told me every other day. When I reported these issues to the front desk attendant who only gave me his name as “Mr. G”. Unhelpful and very dismissive. He said that we didn’t know how to use a shower. I asked him a couple of times to accompany me to the room to show him the problem and he refused to check. On top of the horrible stay I was charged $250.00 for two nights. Overall my stay at Walnut Inn was a complete let down. As a frequent traveler, I expected a much better service and accommodation. Hopefully the owner and manager take this feedback seriously and improve their standards and their employees. Until then I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

Sadly don’t have more than 5 stars because this place deserves 10. During all our travels before on different hotels this time decided to pick this one and was our best election ever. This place has excelent customer service, clean and pretty rooms, excellent room
cleanup and service. We stayed there for 8 days and from the first tonthe last day our experience here was the best. Thanks to the owners for all attention, we definitely will back to this hotel in the future and recommend it to my friends and readers. Only not so good is the parking, most costumers fill the front side parking and we had to use the backside and walk but not a big deal. Parking is safe and very well illuminated and clean

I stayed 2 nights as a sola female, and I felt safe for the most part even when walking around alone to the nearby mall and bakery (which walking to it is not as close as it looks). Even though there are some people who suffer from drug addiction in the vicinity, they left me alone for the most part or were making nice conversation with me but I did see a car pull up in plain daylight to do some graffiti on the freeway wall that's adjacent from this motel. And the first night, there were a swarm of cop cars on the Travelodge next door but other than that at night it was quiet even when on the second night there were a convention of bikers staying there.
Now the room was on the better side than most motels of it's class. Yes, it had a muggy smell when I walked in, and the sheets and towels were discolored (or more like grayish/tannish hues target than white), one was ripped and the cheap 'comforter' had what I'm guessing was cigarette burns, and the bathtub didn't drain well like most of my experiences in motels BUT the room was clean, spacious, and the sheets smelled like laundry detergent bleach. The king bed was spacious and I had a comfortable sleep. I was staying on the corner of the second floor across the office and no one EVER bothered me or made me feel unsafe despite it being busy with lots of men staying on property (some looked like construction workers who might be there working on a nearby project). I would come back late at night, sometimes in car, sometimes walking and no issues there. Of course it's not the safest area but just be aware of your surroundings and you'll be fine especially if you're a single woman staying here alone.
I will agree with most other reviews, the owners/front desk personnel are not the friendliest. They're pretty dry with any additional requests or questions. I wanted to extend an extra night and was being charged more than I paid through a third party online booking site. So I asked if I could try rebooking online and was told I could go ahead but that I still had to check out and check back in several hours later or would still have to pay additional $25 fee if I wanted to stay in the room without having to move my stuff. So I just checked out, paid $50 more to stay at an actual hotel. It's ridiculous that it's all about $ without even having a care for their staff bc at the end of the day the housekeeper would have to clean a room that she could have been spare from cleaning to begin with. Oh and there's no way of declining housekeeping UNLESS you see them before you step out for the day. I wish there was an explicit option to give these ladies a break when possible. There was a working mini fridge in the room, no microwave. And plenty of places to place luggage, toiletries, etc. desk/chair/mirrors. And the usual toiletries packs that are never enough or of decent quality so bring your own especially conditioner because they only give soap bars and shampoo packets
Rooms: Spacious, clean. There was a working mini fridge in the room, no microwave. And plenty of places to place luggage, toiletries, etc. desk/chair/mirrors. And the usual toiletries packets, they only give soap bars and shampoo packets. There's a desk, a chair, 2 mirrors. Different lighting options
Nearby activities: Theres a mall on the other side of the freeway. Plenty of shopping and dining options there. A bowling alley is driving distance. A target, USPS, and library are driving distance as well.
Safety: Not the safest area but neither the ghetto. There is a homeless encampment inside a nearby building but they were friendly with me when I encountered them. I did witness a tagging situation in the middle of the day from a rival tagging crew or gang and they saw me witness it but left me alone.
Walkability: The area is a bit isolated because there's a freeway in front of the motel with a wall that divides it from the other s

This place is a great stay, but unfortunately it has its flaws. The room looks nice, but the pillows are hard to sleep on, woke the next morning with my neck hurting. I asked the person at the front desk if he can provide me with additional pillows that could suffice, he told me to wait for house keeping in the morning, which doesn’t make sense because I had to check out anyway? I also wanted to have a bath after a long day studying, but the bathtub didn’t even have a drain stopper. Also asked the dude at the desk, but he disregarded my request and said “I don’t know”

Don't stay here at all. The employee are all EXTREMELY rude and foul people. They make you feel like garbage for asking simple questions and yell at you, one man asked me if I spoke English and if I was "retarded" while screaming at me when I asked him why I didn't have a handicapped room even though I reserved it online. I was kind and respectful and he took it to an extreme. Everything is filthy and they just don't care. These people shouldn't be working in customer service if they're going to be that nasty to people, especially handicapped people. My mother in law needed the room and has terminal cancer and they SCREAMED at us for no reason.
