“To be honest we were hesitant because of the cost of this full time preschool. Our daughter was technically a Covid baby and doesn’t have much family around her age. We enrolled her in dance lessons but there’s not much one on one time between her and the kids. So it wasn’t enough. I noticed her anxiety was getting worse and needed to do something more for her. More exposure to the world and definitely more socializing with kids her own age. I passed by this location a few times a week and thought I’d take a tour. I’m glad I did. It was a tough 3 months of her getting use to morning drop off. I cried every morning with her but I knew this is something we both needed. I gave up my career to be a stay at home mom with her when Covid hit. She was only use to me. Cut to 4 months in, our daughter is a COMPLETELY different little girl. Confident, outgoing, spelling her name on her own, wanting to practice school activities at home, making friends, talking to teachers and staff. She wouldn’t have had the confidence or bravery if it wasn’t for this school and it’s amazing staff. Especially Ms. Teresa, Ms. Destiny, Ms. Kim, and the director Ms. Amanda. The patience these woman have, unmatched. Thank you for assisting us in getting our baby girl out into the world and out of her little Covid bubble. This school is prestine in cleanliness, and the meals are nutritious and prepared by a veteran in the school lunch world. We see you Ms. Antoinette! We appreciate everyone who has made Bowie’s little life more enriched in the last few months. Thank you! Thank you! ?”
“My daughter has been going to this Kinder Care for a year now and I love it they also have an app that keeps you updated daily and I really love that. It helps ease a parent. They always have different themes and the center also does like the classroom I love that too. The teachers are great my daughter has learned so much. The directors is also very nice and on it with your needs. Thank you kinder care for all that you do.”
“As my first school year at south hills academy nears its end... I can say I am impressed at the education my 4 year old kindergartener received in her first year of school. I will say I have had my complaints about and with the school, but now with "head of school" gone I feel comfortable sending my child back next year. The previous "head of school" (Mr. Emmanuel Lacoste) seemed like a dictator and I was unsure about sending my daughter there next year. However, he recently abruptly resigned and I have noticed the administration moving towards positive change. The majority of the staff are very nice and always saying hello. I have had my complaints with the school regarding communication which have been addressed appropriately. The school now has provided better communication and they seem more willing to hear concerns. Previously I emailed the head of school and never received a response. I called many times and spoke to the head of school one time and asked to meet with him. He assured me I could walk into his office anytime. The next day I went to try to meet with him, and he was unable to meet with me. I believe the school is headed in a positive direction and I plan to send both of my daughters there in the future. To those reading these reviews... there are evident fake reviews by people who find it necessary to make fake accounts and try to hide behind a negative review. I'd urge you to ask a parent about their experience rather than just read a review from someone who may be a previous parent or ex employee.”
“We love the school! We have two elementary age daughters; both have been there since preschool. This school is a great mix of academics, extracurricular activity and spirituality. The teachers are passionate about their jobs and you can feel they care for their students and their students success. There is a real family feel.Communication is great from teachers and administrators. It is a safe place where kids can learn and worship Jesus.”
“A wonderful school and environment. Very caring, hard-working teachers and staff. Heavy focus on academics. Currently have children in 2nd, 1st and pre-school. Definitely worth a visit if looking for a top-quality school. Very open and accepting for all faiths and backgrounds.”
