For your air shipping needs to Manila and some provinces, this is the place to go. Bring your package unsealed so they can inspect the items you're shipping. They will price your package based on volume or weight whichever is higher and your relatives can pick them up at the Philippine branches.

Horrible experience. If you want to use Johnny Air to send packages you might as well go to the one in LA. The staff here does not know what they are doing and they have to call the LA branch to make their decisions for them. We had to drive all the way to LA due to their indecisiveness. If there is a rating lower than one star that's what they deserve.

Great place to air ship to the P.I. price is $8 a pound. Beware the one armed guy behind the counter major chip on his shoulder. Other than "Lefty's" unprofessional smack talking trash. Cash transaction had one hiccup he does not have change for cash payments. I had to go next door too the lunch place and get change for him. He did not even offer a thank you when i came back with the change. I will update if package really got to P.I. in a week. Update it got there in 8 days

This is the worst customer service Filipino air cargo I've ever encountered. The man assigned to this particular branch on Amar/west covina was rude, impolite and not suited to be in this business. Further, they charge unreasonably as compared to LBC. I was charged $48 for a small box and additional charge for delivery to the addressee plus credit card charge of $4.00. I went to LBC air cargo nearby and was so surprised at the friendly customer service, they took care of packing the box, very prompt and organized and I only paid $25.00 for my box with no extra charge for delivery and no charge for credit card

The good thing about this branch of Johnny Air is it's accessible and I don't have to make a special trip to get there. I can get my shopping done at the other Filipino stores in the comple. But , the very BAD thing about this place, just like the other reviewer said. They try to give me a different story everytime I go there and they overcharge you knowing that you are like on the spot or else your package wont be shipped.. One time, I had a box weighed around 24 lbs, not bulky, just kinda heavy because of clothes and shoes. I had 5 pairs of shoes in there, 3 adult pairs and 2 kids pairs, as in toddler shoes. They charged me commercial rate even though he very well know this is personal effects, for a family. I was thinking Im just gonna separate my package into 2 boxes because I can still make 2 boxes with at least 10 lbs each but the box they are selling in there costs like %6 a piece, What a rip off! So I ended up paying almost $200 for that box. On a another occasion, I have an external hard drive together with some kids clothes, altogether weighed like 11 pounds. The hard drive weighed about 3 lbs. but they charged my whole box at electronics rate of $8.50 per pound, not just the weight of the hard drive. I thought they will calculate the weight of the electronic and charged me $8.50 for that per pound and then the rest charge me $5.99 per pound. But no, they charged me $8.50 per pound. I think I am going to submit my case to BBB , if they are even a member of that. So I will rather drive to the Vermont Branch , a little farther but I dont have that feeling of being ripped off when I leave the place. So A big NO to the Johnny air West Covina branch.

I have been sending air cargo with this company in this West Covina location for a long time. I don't know what changed but for the past 2 shipments I did, but they try to get as much money as they want because they know you need to send those packages. They charge $5.99/lb (which is fine with me). Their minimum weight is 10 lbs. I always meet and exceed their minimum of 10 lbs requirement for the package. The last time I went, they said they also charge for how big or small the box is even though I am way over the weight limit. Even though the weight is only about 14 lbs., they ended up charging me around $118 (and that is for pick up too - not even direct delivery to the house) Just recently, they charged me $8.50/lb because I had a small machine which barely weigh 5 lbs. The box weighed a total of 19.4 lbs. But they charged me $8.50/lb. Imagine, how much that cost me? $165! Again, they wanted check/cash because it will cost me to use a credit card (which is new). Not only that, this package was not even delivered directly to the person. It was delivered for pick up in their office. If you want it delivered, it will cost $5 more. I think they ridiculously overcharged me. I would understand if they charged me $8.50/lb on the machine. But they charged me for the entire box! Now, I will never use their services again. I think that I was taken advantage of the situation. So beware when you use this company. You cannot be desperate as they would overcharge you for the littlest thing.

Nice place to ship packages to your loved ones in the Philippines. Not too expensive, and they were able to get my pkg over in about a week. They are closed on Thursdays and Sundays!
