A gem of West Covina history! The spacious banquet hall has beautiful string lights above, a dance floor that can hold a crowd, and the catering by Bashful Butler is delicious. Like most places, summer weekends get booked quickly, and the winter months tend to have the most availability.But what I really love is the commitment to preserving the history of the ranch. From the barn, to the family house moved from across the street when the school was built, to the acre still being farmed 118 (!) years after the Hurst family purchased the land. Charlie Hurst, the patriarch, was a generous guy who was community oriented, and I think he would be really happy to see the school children who come for field trips or to learn about growing food and delicious ways to enjoy it. The annual Harvest Festival in October is a lot of fun, with all the various activities like: making butter, squeezing fresh orange juice, crafts for the kids, a fairy garden, petting zoo, tours of the farmhouse, live music, etc. etc.

Went to an event at Hurst Ranch and had a great time. The manager of Hurst Ranch, Elmer, and his staff were very helpful. I recommend this wonderful place to everyone wanting to have a special event.

Hurst ranch is a normal barnyard rustic farmhouse style banquet hall that is there for aesthetics. Don't know if I should make this review but my phone asked me to do so. And just like that I said yes master here eyez cuoome.. I think I made a fine post if I do say so myself

If you are thinking of renting this place DO NOT!!!!!They tell you that you will receive your full deposit if the place is in clean shape after your event.Well guess what, not at all. Also it's take them 4 to 6 week to give you your deposit back and to top it off they deduct $200.00. I believe this is outraged, we clean the hall before we left and still got shorted $200.00.I would recommend you find another spot.So why did it take 4 weeks to get mine back.Also still waiting for a call back from.

Nice venue, spacious with a rustic/rural feel to it. Kinda hidden away in residential W Covina; if you're not looking for it, you wont see it.

This place is awesome! We had my Aunts Celebration of Life here. The owner was Soo nice. He offered to open up the museum while we were here. Soo cool.

It is just too hot there. No pool, no trees, and the auditorium wasn't cool at all. Of course the reunion was mid July. Maybe another time of year would be great.

Everyone was nice, it was clean, the lighting is wonderful. Some strands were out so I think they should up keep that and actual parking space is small but you can park in the st.
