“My new favorite shop. My wife and I came in yesterday afternoon so she take her firearms test and possible get a new firearm. I read some of the negative reviews on here. It reaffirms my belief that some of my neighbors in Arcadia and Monrovia are insane. David, the owner, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever run into. He spent so much time with us, educating us, and even giving me a quick lesson on how to hold / operate my firearm. Turns out I've been doing it wrong for the last 20 years LOL. David fixed my issues in 10 minutes. My wife passed her test and we purchased her first firearm. We also picked up a body armor plate. I'm so glad this shop opened up in my neighborhood because I used to shop at a certain corporate gun store with multiple locations...you can probably figure out which one. I'll never go to that place again, now that David is here because his service is 10x better. He genuinely cares about his customers and this community. I'll be buying all my firearms, ammo, and accessories from David from now on. By the way, he has some amazing dogs at the shop that he rescued, so make sure to close the door so they don't escape :)”

“I visited Pro Force recently to purchase a few items and I recommend this shop to other first responders/LEOs looking to get gear for work. I went as a walk in, though it might have been a better idea to call ahead and book an appointment. It took a while to be seen by the staff, but in all honesty, there were only a couple of staff members available, and since they focus on each individual customer, I knew that my patience would pay off. These folks work hard, and they have a lot of details to manage, so I would suggest cutting them some slack if they're a bit tired and aren't as friendly as someone who works at Macy's (as first responders/LEOs, I'm sure we've all been there, right?). That being said, my experience was a good one. The staff was professional and helpful. I will definitely come back.”

“Best pawn shop in the SGV! Josh, the owner, is amazing. I've been coming here for years and always find great deals. Both Josh and Marti are incredibly welcoming. I also wanted to address some of the negative reviews I've seen about Alamo, which I think are unfair. When you bring items to a pawn shop, you can't expect to get the full price you paid for them. For example, if you bought something for $100 new, you won’t get $100 for it at a pawn shop—this is a business, and they need to make a profit too. If you want full price for your items, try selling them on eBay or Offer Up. If you don’t like the price they offer, just take your stuff back and go elsewhere; there's no obligation to sell if you're not happy with the offer. Things change, and they might not take older items like cameras from the '80s unless they have value. Nobody wants to buy old junk! ? Anyway, before anyone assumes I work here—I don’t. Just wanted to share my honest, positive experience with these guys.”
