This place has absolutely terrible service. The customer service is garbage because they cannot even communicate with each other about simple details regarding a simple purchase. Went in to buy a jacket and when I got home, it had a hole in it so I tried exchanging it but the employee said that they can be fired if they exchange something that was purchased less than 3 days ago. The manager is disrespectful and doesn't even know her self respect.

Manager is so rude and talks bad bout others. Not to mention i overheard her talking bad about another employee which doesn’t look good on the store.

I went into exchange a jacket that I purchased and never even tried on and went thru the most excruciating ridiculous process ever I spent more than half an hour watching the poor employee take pictures, smell the jacket inside and out, fold and unfold it, apologize for the interrogation that we were being submitted to. I had purchased 3 jackets and multiple hats from them before without knowing that a simple exchange would turn into a half an hour interrogation. The most disturbing part of it all was when The employee informed us that they could lose their jobs just by exchanging a product that was purchased less that 3 days ago. This is unacceptable for a company to threaten employees with loosing their jobs. This is how you loose customer for ever.

Horrible. Came in two days before Christmas to buy a jacket for a gift exchange gift. The manager was super cool when we were making the purchase. We were like nice! Fast forward to 2 weeks later had to bring the jacket back because it didn't fit my dad. The cashier immediately let us know they didn't have anything in a 3XL. There's also no refunds so we had to get store credit... already a red flag since we were stuck making a purchase. The manager who helped us two weeks before had a different attitude and says that they have one 3XL in another completely different jacket. Ok fine, we will take it. The amount of time this woman took to sniff the jacket was insane. She inspected it like she was TSA. I let her know that my dad didn't wear it at all, he literally opened it and immediately knew it didn't fit. Super weird, ignored my comment and continued to sniff and check every aspect of that jacket. Walks away after "approving" and the cashier is like "oh the jacket your getting is $15 more because it's got a patch on the back" . Like huh?! Lol. I mean we were pretty much locked in so ended up just walking out with an ugly jacket with an ugly patch. Not sure what kind of bum people you all have making purchases there but for you to have to sniff the jacket like TSA is off as hell. Thanks for making it weird Cap City!

online customer service is garbage avoid it. returned the wrong hat and they accused me of wear the hat because shipping damaged the hat.

Never buying from here again! Terrible service from their supervisor on duty who wouldn’t exchange a hat that was a manufacturer error because it was “their policy”. We not only came back twice but we were polite and cooperative throughout the whole process. They must hire just anyone for management because the female manager was rude and terrible at resolving the issue. Luckily the supervisor at Santa Ana helped us out. Go to Lids or any other hat store. This store was a joke.

Don't ever participate in their pre-orders 8 months later and still no indication of where my order is, this is a hat store that seems to routinely bite off more than they can chew fulfillment wise Go to hat club or lids instead

After having a terrible experience at the Lids near by, I stopped by to see if they had a certain hat I was looking for. A younger gentleman, I never got his name, welcomed me in and asked if he can help me find something. After telling him the team I like and the material I prefer, he helped me find the right one. It wasn't the exact one I was looking for, but hey this one is sweet too! Overall, I'm very happy with my experience and I'll be back next time I want a hat. Thank you!

I keep calling and calling then wait 30 minutes to try again and nobody answers the phone here or at the Burbank location either, why put your phone number online if you won't answer to help a customer out, huge bummer !!!

They suck customer service sucks I bought a hat it said 7 5/8 it was wrong they did nothing also said it wasn't there problem people with businesses like this shouldn't have any.. the kid say he's the manager can't do his job .. check you hat cuz the sizes are wrong . Lids is the place to go f this place they suck

the first time i went there i was planning on getting just one hat, but they have really good offers! i ended up leaving the store with two hats ! really friendly customer service ! i was talking to an employee about my self interest, and ended up creating a new friend in the process

Don’t buy your cap here, lids on the other side of the mall is cheaper and does engraving in 20 minutes. Ordered engraving at caps city before finding out lids does it in 20 minutes and cap city does it in 24 hours!! no refund for work they didn’t even started yet. Stay away from this place
