The program does not support their students with materials and does not treat them with respect.

Good value for money. Don't forget they are students, so don't come with unfair expectations.

This school is so ghetto. I graduated from this school in 2010. Since then the school has new owners and incompetent people that work there. I've been asking ABC for transcripts for another school that I want to attend since the summer of 2021 and I've received NOTHING. First they said they couldn't find them, then they said they didn't have them because the owners changed, and at the end they said they didn't have them because it's been more than 7 years. In January I asked them to write me a letter stating they didn't have my transcripts because it has been over 7 years, they agreed to do it, but it's now February and I still have not received anything. If they can't simply write a letter what makes you think they can run a school? I've asked to speak to the owners and they are never there, I've left my information and the owners have never called me back. Save your money find another school that is willing to help past alumnus. And just to make it clear the new school that I'm going to attend has nothing to do with beauty, so I don't understand ABC couldn't provide me with my letter. DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL.

Today I went to get a haircut shoulder length and it ended getting it shorter, which I was not happy. I told her like layers because my hair was damage by being thin and no chemicals. Anyway once the instructor check she was so rough with combing my hair and ear several times to make sure the student's work was done right. But she also poke my scalp with her long nails and no apology. Before I went out she told her student to slight dry my hair but, after I told her she was hurting my scalp, she told the student not to blow dry it. I paid for services and this is part of her job because that is how she has a job. Her name is Fran she was so rude just throwing to you if she checks your hair which I hope not make sure she does not treat you like her mannequin doll.

I went to get a haircut today, and was not happy because I told the student shoulder length, and she cutted to my neck. I had long hair and donated my lock. This girl student took to long like she did not know or did not have many haircuts in her record. She kept going back and forth to the instructor. The instructor was so rough with my hair, she kept combining my ears and pulling my scalp, even poking with her long pointy fake nails and I told her, which she ignored. She just said it was the comb. The girl was supposed to dry my hair but, she gave instructions not to. Well Fran or Francine which ever is her name, the public pays for services and is also part of your paycheck. If you're going to be rude and have your own rules in a business that is not your and not following protocols, don't work there.

Free haircut with check in..I was there in the day. I was the only client. Many students just hanging out chatting. My cut seems basic. Long layers clean out up. She is very conservative It like like just rough end half inch which when looking at the floor v want v all my hair v read actually cute. I had many split ends. It took over an v hour for my thick hair. She was too nervous to cut the front so the trainer did. But the trainer had an awkward x tube on the leftI had a nice girl.. She seemed new and a little timid . She's still working in hand skills. Parking was super easy as lot is basically empty. I found small tree for extra shade

Unfortunately 99.9% of what I learned I learned in the field on my own. Poor excuse for a trade school. I had friends who when they started this school they were excited, enthusiastic and optimistic for the future. This school offers a barbering program, I felt so BAD for my classmates they didn't even have a barber instructor for 6 months.. How are suppose to learn when there isn't even a teacher... 1.) I had 5 different teachers within a year and a half. 2.) We NEVER practiced state board 3.) The bathrooms and break room is infested with coach roaches for 6 months while i was attending we were forced to eat in our cars or by food out. 5.) I had a who was ADDICTUED TO DRUGS Ms. Razo She was NEVER SOBER. She literally slept with her younger male students running around like a 15 year old girl..she was 34 at the time. The owners of the school knew about it and did NOTHING took 6 months. 6 Months of all out education and money in the trash. She didn't teach us anything. To the owners Maybe if you were at the school more you would actually have an idea of whats going on. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GO TO A DIFFRENT SCHOOL

Don't come here if you want to learn a new trade, successfully. Admins are uncooperative and don't treat their MILITARY Veteran students with respect. I heard multiple veterans complain that this school allegedly refused to distribute money from the V.A. to their students. I witnessed one veteran shouting in distress about how they "stole his money.". I tend to believe the people who served and risked their lives for this country over the entitled school faculty. I'm not convinced that any of the Vets were lying, and it's so sad to see them get taken advantage of and blackballed by staff, allegedly.I WAS in the barber program, and we lacked so many pivotal items such as toilet paper, hair dye, barber chairs, or even towels. The amount of pressure that all the instructors are under to restrict students from using school supplies (that we were told would be included with our tuition) is ridiculous. It's a shame seeing such passionate instructors, slowly lose their motivation to teach at this school. This is a "for profit" school in every sense of the word.I expect to be ridiculed by admins for leaving this less than stellar review, but that is precisely why I left this school!

I was a student here and the way its run is the worst. They wanted us to pass out fliers for them as make up hrs or volunteering. And they space they had wasnt sufficient for the amount of students they have. They only care about money and getting more students when they didnt have teachers, due to them quitting because the owners are rude and do not know how to speak to their employees and expect them to do everything. They stopped the towel cleaning service to save money and had the secretary take bags of dirty towels home yo wash on her own time, or sometimes had her run out mid day to wash them at a launder mat. The towels were stained and embarrassing to work with. The students were threatened to be suspended or punished if they publicly spoke out about the conditions of the school (they called it malicious intent) which included roaches, lack of supplies, crappy brands of bleach, broken vending machine, and dirty conditions or no running hot water. It was embarrassing as a student to do clients hair or other services knowing that we didnt have the right products or tools. As cosmotologist and barbers we want to make a good impression with our work and we were not allowed to do our best work considering that we were forbidden from using our own products that we knew worked well. Out of the 3 teachers who worked there when I started only 1 remains, after the barber teacher left they were taught by the same teacher the cosmos had. The night teacher was only there a couple times a week and then was let go. And the others left because of the mistreatment of Ms.Roman and her daughter Ms. Jenny who did nothing but hang out and spend time with her bestie Ms.Darlene. Great students with much talent. Awful business and school. I was so glad to be out of that place and so lucky to have friends to show me how to pass the test. Please look somewhere else if you plan on becoming licensed. They have students stand in for secretary when she is busy and phone calls come in from yelp to let them know when they get bad reviews and they pay them to get taken down so dont give them too much credit on the stars that they have. GOOD LUCK
