“Teresa and her staff are amazing. She always goes above beyond to accomodate me and trains her staff to do the same. Despite my neglagence or my rude misinformed assumptions, she has always been professional and patient. Thank you Teresa! I would go postal without you, Lol. Sincerly BOX 2”

“Look, i dont know why this little post office has gotten so many bad reviews but ive never had a bad experience here. The postmaster, his name is Greg, i dont know his last name. He's never invited me to his home for dinner or to go fishing or meet his family. Geez, i dont even know if he has a family, fishes or even eats dinner for that matter. I dont know this man from page 12. One thing i know about Greg tho, besides his name and demeanor, is that he is an excellent postmaster, and i mean downright exceptional! Ive never seen him be rude to anyone, ever, and ive been difficult at times myself. He has went out of his way NUMEROUS times to track down packages, find addresses that were incoherent from clients and inform me on shipping rules and options. I have literally received THOUSANDS of packages at this little rural post office, especially during covid. I buy just about everything online, besides groceries, and i have never lost a package, ever, since ive been in Douglas City. When i was at Weaverville and before that Hayfork, some of my mail, just disappeared, but never here. In 7 or 8 years now, ZERO lost mail. He has never even asked me about my business or why do i receive so many packages or anything. Theres nothing suspicious about what i do, im just a single, transperson that loves to shop. I work, i get paid and i spend it, simple. The only thing Greg ever asks me is "do you need stamps or envelopes" or "does this contain anything dangerous, explosive, blah, blah, blah that every postal person has to ask. So maybe one day if he was rude to some difficult customer, i never seen anything even close to that but based on a few reviews, lets pretend, if it did happen, im sure he was pushed as far as a man could be by some rude, pushy, person because this man is friendly, professional, quiet tempered, helpful and respectful and ive never witnessed anything other than this demeanor from him. Douglas City is a little bend in the river with maybe 900 folks. Its a quiet little fishing village during the spring, summer and fall salmon and steelhead runs, but we've also got a great little post office with a good postmaster, and i for one really appreciate him!”
