“I took my family(2 parents and 3 kids under 5 years old). We had a great time there taking pictures and picking fruits. We purchased our tickets online beforehand, which was $10/vehicle. We showed the worker at the sales table and he explained where all the fruits were located. Apples were the first two rows that started at the bottom of the hill. As you went up and toward the end, there were definitely more apples to pick. Lots of tomatoes and chilis were available and were a few yards away from the parking lot location. Blackberries were pretty far away, as you have to walk out towards the entrance of the farm and walk towards the another location. These were delicious and my kids devoured them in few days. Apple cider was delicious, however it sold out very quickly. There was also a lot of other produce that were available to purchase without needing to pick them yourselves. Only minor issue i found was that the blackberry picking area was marked by green tape along the tree branches or random poles in the ground. It would have been a lot easier if there were a few signs to point us in the correct direction.”

“Craving pie and we happened to be in Watsonville. Stumbled upon Gizdich Ranch as a pie option and decided to give it a go! About 5-6 miles out of Watsonville, it's not the easiest to find with all of these sharp turns, but navigation definitely helps. Tucked away from the roads, there are a plenty of parking available (though spots may be tight). I could definitely see this place being crowded during the weekends and holidays. Pies seem to be their specialty and they're pretty good. I did think the slices were a bit on the smaller side for what you pay for, but that's inflation for you--right? That said, the pies are a tasty treat. I liked their pies over the supermarket or chain store options. The pies seem like they were made well and not overly sweet--yes! A La Mode is really the way to go. Didn't get to try their apple juice this time around, would have liked to. Located at a farm, you have a rustic outside seating scene and a barn/ farm like indoor seating scene. It's pretty bare bones without any service (or happy service it seems). But you're only here for the pie, right? There is a small store where you'll find jam and honey and other stuff. Cool. They also have an antiques store. Cool. Traffic back was not good.”

“I visited Prevedelli Farms in Watsonville, CA during my work break. This is a family business of a 4th generation immigrant. Here is their story They are famous for their excellent selection of apples: honey crisp, jonagold, fuji, etc. You can find them at California Avenue (Palo Alto), Los Altos, San Mateo, Mt. View, Sunnyvale, and more farmer markets. To buy from them, call first. The farmer may be picking produce in the fields, so call 831-345-3376 (Ask for Nick for availability of produce) open from 9am-noon M,W,Th; 9a-3p Tues and Fri; closed Sat and Sun. Since it was summer, they had berries. Nick brought out bosenberries for my friend and I to try. He also brought large juicy blackberries (I think it was $6/ basket.. I was so happy to try one that I forgot exactly). He was kind enough to call his friend to find out info for me for where to buy strawberries.”

“This place is amazing. The food is so fresh and delicious and they have great pre-made options for on the go. The coffee is delicious too. They were conveniently located for me as I was across the street unloading a truck. They are super friendly too. I definitely recommend them. They are the only reason I would be okay with returning to this receiver just to get more food.”
