Last couple days ago, I went to withdraw some cash and asked a lady at the front desk if can I may have new bills for traveling. I explained which I do not even have to. She goes I only gonna give you what I have. Or you can request for new bills but not right now. She started counting on $100 bills without even care if there’s some tears or marks on them.I smiled and left with those marks and tear on the bills I got. Now what? I am on my own now if I don’t acknowledged to check and look through those bills?You are so ignorant person banker I ever seen. Worse attitude. Unprofessional service.And, dissatisfied with this banker.No more coming to Watsonville location instead I’ll drive all the way to 41st.

I realize that a lot of things these days are self-service, including taking care of your own banking needs at an ATM machine. However, at times, it is necessary to speak to someone in person. I walked into the building on May 31, 2023 at 11:05 AM. There were only two bank tellers working and although there was only one person ahead of me, the wait was very long. To make matters worse, when it was my turn to speak to a bank teller, the male bank teller did not greet me but instead proceeded to talk to his coworker regarding matters unrelated to work. I was standing there for a sold two minutes before he acknowledged me! I should have interrupted but unlike the bank tellers here, I have manners. I don't know where he obtained his "customer service" skills, but he could do better. I know my complaint here will most likely be ignored, but I am here to tell you that if you are considering banking here, it would behoove you to find another bank. Not only are there more ATMs available in the public for other banking institutions, like Bank of America, but the service would most likely be better elsewhere. Because nothing would be worse that this place! You would think that banks would make sure that the few bank tellers they do hire are good and have the ultimate goals of trying their best to retain customers, provide exemplary service, and acquire more customer accounts. Sadly, this type of behavior is more likely to get them to lose Customers! This visit to this bank branch was so frustrating, at the time I felt inclined to close my account and take my business across the street to Bank of America! It has definitely prompted me to consider other bank institutions. Just so you know the bank app and online website for Chase is not much better. Contacting support through the app and online is also very slow even with serious questions and concerns. So do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere! If I could give a negative star for this bank I would! Yup it was that bad!

I drove 45 minutes to access this ATM. The ATM was giving me technical difficulties errors and wouldn't dispense my money. I spoke to customer service and the first representative HUNG UP ON ME (how professional) when I asked for a supervisor. I called back and after AN HOUR WAIT they assured me I would have no problems. But yet here I am with more errors. Also it should be noted that Chase Bank canceled one of my accounts without my authorization and lied and said that they did have authorization. I've had nothing but problems since opening my accounts and I pray to God that I end my suffering and choose a different company to hold my money. the scary part is the representative hung up on me right after I gave her my social and name and address. Everyone reading this, this is how identity theft occurs it is usually an inside job.

I recently opened up an account here at this branch with chase and I am so happy and satisfied that I did, I get excellent service every time I come here and they are always helpful. I sat down with a banker and found out different ways chase offers to maximize my money that I never knew I could do! Such a nice quality branch, you can tell they actually care and will help you with investments and want to see you grow your moola! Every time I walk in here. I feel like a VIP. They greet me right away, direct me to the right banker and even offer me a water bottle. This particular location provides prompt attentive service, I'm glad I made the switch to Chase. Thank you!!

4 stars out of 5, because I thought the bank staff were very friendly and helpful when assisting me. I will leave out 1 star in my 4/5 rating because I am dissatisfied with the way Chase Bank (not this branch location) handled my business checking account. Chase opened my business account, then less than 3 days later said it was restricted and will close it. So why approve my account in the beginning then a few days later say they will close it?! I will take my business account elsewhere

I personally do most of my banking with JP Morgan Chase Bank and have never had any issues. With this specific branch, however, I have only experienced and heard negative remarks. A friend of mine recently had a nearly month-long ordeal at this location trying to cash his California rent relief check, which was issued BY CHASE BANK. Despite having an account and proper ID, they refused to release the funds off the check to him for various reasons - despite the bank having processed the check completely and receiving the funds from the issuer. If you are a Chase customer or need to do business with them in this area, I would suggest going to the Aptos or Seaside braches instead.

I went in to ask about how to change my name on my account due to marriage. I was told I needed my new CDL and Social security card and did not require an appointment. Once I had the information I was initially told I needed, I showed up to get it done. When I showed up they told me I needed an appointment and that I also needed my marriage certificate which I didn’t have on me due to previously being told I didn’t need it. They told me to give them my number and they’d call me that day to schedule an appointment. They called me two days later to schedule the appointment. Thankfully I had already gone to the Capitola branch which was so much more accommodating and I miraculously did not need my marriage certificate. I feel sorry for the Watsonville residents that have to go to this branch.

Wait 30 minutes for an appointment. Come back 2 hours later for that appointment. Only to wait and still waiting after 30 minutes even to be acknowledged by anyone. 10 spots for bankers to work and only 3 spots occupied. Bank elsewhere if you want good customer service.

Miguel was the manager at the time i went in to receive help. I was looking to get a loan on my car. I've currently been banking with Wells Fargo but and recently switched over to chase. So far being with them has been horrible as far as going into this bank and receiving help. There customer service is terrible and Miguel did not make me feel welcome one bit. Horrible manger and someone that should not be running a bank.
