I will never use this place again. They charged me for an oil change but the oil was very dirty after less than 2 months. It was obvious they either forgot to change the oil or they did not change it intentionally. They charged me for a new oil filter but when my new mechanic looked at it, it was still the original Honda Oil Filter from the dealer. They did not replace the oil filter. They did not take care of the low pressure tire warning which stayed on till today. They billed me over $400 for very poor service. Beware beware beware!!!

New to the area and glad I found Ben's shop. Super helpful and really fair pricing. Came here twice for routine maintenance and great customer service. Had a minor problem with starting the car sometimes and he was able to educate me on all the possible problems and solutions. You can tell he really tries to help his customers the best he can and cares. If you have a Honda or Acura and need routine maintenance or have issues, I recommend this mechanic shop. Also don't confuse this shop with the one in North DB.

Benjamin did a awesome and fast job on my girlfriends 2016 Honda Accord EX-L (V6)! She needed a pretty big job done! She got her 100k mile service which included Timing Belt! Water Pump! Tensioner! Spark plugs! Valve cover gasket! And a Valve adjustment! I wouldn't just trust this job with anyone! I could easily tell of Benjamin's knowledge of the V6 platform! He happily explained his use of OEM parts too! Which I was happy to hear as that is what I was looking for too. Not to mention his great pricing compared to the Honda dealer lol! Thank you again Benjamin for doing such a great job and taking care of us! I would happily come back and support this mans business!! Happy to write this review 4+ months later and everything's perfect still!

Ben at Vtec / Walnut provides good quality work for my Hondas. I especially like that he specializes in Hondas / Acuras and will use genuine Honda parts if he can. Ben has done work for me from break replacement to transmission swap with great results. His pricing is not the lowest but the work he provides is worth the extra penny. One of our Hondas is a 05 Civic that runs smooth Thanks to Ben & Vtec Team!

Llevé mi honda civic solo hicieron inspeccion visual y dijeron, el compresor del AC no sirve ,fui a otro lugar y resolvieron el problema eficientemente y el compresor si servía.

I don't know if those negative ratings have any merit behind them but I've had nothing but positive experiences here. I've been here multiple times, mostly for fluid changes (oil, transmission, etc). Most recently I got an alignment done here and it was perfect. This place is a no frills mechanic. There are no free drinks or loaner cars. The waiting area isn't glamorous either. Just come get work done on your car and leave. No complaints here.

I've been coming to Benjamin since 2007 with my 2002 Honda Civic and now with my 2012 CR-V which he takes very good care of for me. His pricing is reasonable although not on the cheap side. And most important, he is very honest and reliable. He wouldn't ask you to replace anything if you don't need to. And he would explain different options in detail when there's a problem to fix. His goal is to help his customers keep their car maintenance as economic and hassle free as possible. One time I had an oil change at another mechanics because it was closer to home, that owner tried to scam me to replace the timing belt. I'm glad I double checked with Ben first and he told me there was no timing belt in my 2012 but a chain which should last forever. He also gives his customers good advice, like he asked me to keep every single invoice for every maintenance including oil change, that way in the future my car can be sold at a better price because potential buyers will see the car has been taken good care of. A lot of costumers just walk in but I'd always give him a call first to see how long is the wait.
