I agree with the reviewer above. I add this: when my daughter was discouraged by what is really an overwhelming process, Jackie scheduled a one-on-one Zoom call with a staff editor, who helped her with her paper live! Ultimately, it got her back on track to finish her applications.

As college approached for our first child, we felt unprepared to help him since we had attended school outside the United States. A friend recommended that we enroll him in the Stanford Academy College Counseling Program–what a great find it was! Jackie helped him narrow his college choices, and AP/honors English teachers and graduate students from Harvard, Columbia, and Stanford provided him on-demand support with his essays and applications. I was especially impressed with the personalized attention they gave to each student. I could sense his confidence growing as the progress unfolded. Thank you, Jackie, for helping our first child through the complicated application process! We’ll be back in two years for my daughter!

Worst nightmare ever in hiring a so called “college consular” in helping my kid doing the college preparation, no scheduling, no official college list provided, just the verbal mandarin sales talk all the way during the 6 months engagement and nothing official business process is provided follow by the timeline. Besides that, all the essay review was conducted by a group of part-time college students without any knowledge in respect of privacy or right business ethics of conduct. They even ask your Common App and UC application portal account and password, and login into your account other than the students themselves in reviewing the information. I doubt if the consular/business owner (same person, the only one doing the client facing) even know how to make a spread sheet to provide a list to the client. Paying 13k consulting fee and not even can request an in person client meeting ? Is that a fraud or scam ?

My son went to this after school for about 5 years since 2nd grade. This is the best after school ever. Not only the owner cared about what I’m looking for, all teachers are attentive and cared for my son’s school work and personality building. I highly recommend this after school if you are looking for a place to care for your kids.

I put my kids in this summer camp during the summer said not know what was going to happen... the kids said that the staff was incredibly rude and asked them to memorize thir own schedule after their first day there. Will not be returning any time soon

Right off the bat, I DO NOT recommend you to send your children to this awful institution. The owner there has a severe bias towards some students and does not actually care for the wellbeing of your kid. My son has told me many stories of the owner's son bullying him, and teachers calling him names one of which being retard which is absolutely unacceptable (this teacher's name is David). After my child confronted the owner about this she shrugged it off and I pulled him out of the academy. Long story short, do not send your kids here it is not worth the money and it has traumatized my kid. We have sent him to many institutions before and this is by far the worst. My son has begged me to write this because of all the traumatic experiences he has had there, do not make the same mistake that I did.

My kids didn't like it at the beginning, but now they love it. They didn't have lots of play time like other after school program, they help my kids to finish their homework on time. They have free Chinese classes on Fridays. One of my kid doesn't want to take Chinese class, so she has an option to join the common core class.
