The entire staff from Barb who worked the front, to the bathers and groomers are just fantastic and you can tell that they care about the animals in the back. We are sad to see them leave, but are excited to meet the new owners!”
“I can’t say enough about Cal State Dog supplies. I took my 3 year old pit bull who has not gone to many groomers due to their fear of his breed. From the first call with Danny where he shared with me how they treat dogs coming in regardless of breed. He provided me with step by step of what to expect for my dog getting groomed. There no Harm approach put ease to my mind and helped me feel like for once I found someone who would care for him in the way that he should be. Danny called me to give me updates on my pup and tell me how well he did and validated that he was not in fact aggressive as others have made him out to be. It was an emotional experience for me. “I brought my medium/small sized dog here just for a nail trim. I did explain that my dog runs anxious. They did a great job with trimming her nails and were very understanding about her anxiety. The service was quick and efficient. They even gave my dog a treat before leaving. Would recommend!”
“I work next door to Top Dog. They are getting ready to expand to the suite next to the current location and the construction was a bit noisy. I went over to ask if there was anything we can do about the noise and they immediately prioritized the request. It’s not to often that you find businesses that cater to their neighbors like that! “I am literally their oldest customer. I adopted my Yorkie in 2006. I also adopted a maltipoo 3 years later. Both of these fur babies were amazing. This was not the best part. Janice loved ao much of what she was doing.. Katrina is, beyond far,... the best groomer in my opinion. She is
so loving..etc so knowledgeable...??.. I just wish I could find that where we are now.”

“Our reactive pup Otis has been thru a 3 week board and train last year and it was not a good experience at ALL , I was recommended to Ian and Dog on Fun by someone on the Nextdoor app, my family and I where in desperate need to help Otis overcome his fear driven anxiety and resource guarding of me and his mom , Otis stood at Dog on fun for 17 days , Ian trained every other day and Otis had activities every day at their fun zone, and fun it is ! I received photos daily from Dogs of fun and many many videos and pics from Ian while he was out training Otis , Ian took Otis to the park on many occasions, pet co and homedepot, places where we Otis' family never had to the confidence to do so. We are truly blessed and amazing on how well Ian helped Otis and how well Otis was treated at dogs on fun , this is going be long lasting relationship for us with Ian and Dogs of fun. When Otis first meet Ian , Ian was not able to go near him let alone pet him and let me tell ya the bond they share is amazing ! We have learned with Ian that having confidence, trust and with the right training any dog can overcome, we where at the point where we told our selves Otis will need to be rehome because a new family moved into our home , and with Otis' fears and setbacks we thought that was all we can do , but God lead us to Ian and Dog on fun and we all couldn't be more happier with the outcome ! Never give up on your pup no matter what the situation may look like , Ian has shown us that and Otis is different pup.”

“Super friendly and helpful staff at the Duarte location. We came here to utilize the doggy bath for our pup and I'm so glad we did! They have these different packages that include everything you need: Earth Bath branded shampoo, conditioner, wet and dry combs, deodorant spray, ear wash drops, cotton balls and towels and more. The bath itself is well equipped with warm and cold water a little protector door to ensure your pup doesn't hop out. There's a few dryer stations that have blow dryers and pressure dryers as well. I loved how helpful and cost effective it was to give our dog a bath here. There's a huge selection of other pet food and supplies. The store was well equipped and the staff were very knowledge and helpful.”

Notice the little chicks---so adorable and no surprise that they are all female. They are "sexed" at the hatchery per Wes (who I realized is the owner) and a Cal Poly Pomona graduate.
Not pretentious. Simple feed and supplies. They deliver direct too as I was leaving I spotted a truck full of hay pull out. Great help today---heavy bag. Prices are fair. Thanks to Wes & Shannon Alcott!”
“They have always done a great job with my two poodle mixes. I tried elsewhere and no one did as good of a job, one place wasn't watching my dog and as soon as he saw me he jumped off the table and landed crying..... There prices are cheap for the wonderful job they do.”
““The care with which they treat my dogs is as good as my family does. They take their time to insure the grooming is done right! The dogs always come back clean and fresh smelling. They are excellent with both short hair and long hair as we been taking long hair terrier Lucio for years and now our short hair Rocket the pug!

“I absolutely love this place and is by far the best I've been to locally. Not only are they reasonably priced, but the staff really enjoy what they do and are true pet lovers. I've been here a few times with one dog, and I recently just picked up a second dog that will be visiting this place soon. Some things I was not aware of as a dog parent and the owner were kind enough to have a great conversation with and educating me on what work or doesn't work. Getting a same day appointment can be a bit hectic, but that's what happens when you don't already have an appointment. Sometimes, I get lucky to get the same day, but that's okay too. All in all, this is an amazing salon for the fur babies!”

“After buying fish from Petco & Pet Smart, they all died. Our assumption is that they were all sick. We came to West Lake Aquarium, where they have a vareity of fish for fish tanks and outdoor ponds. The fish I bought were guppies and Glow fish, you can tell they are healthy and very well taken care of. I don't mind paying the difference as long as they are healthy and well taken care of. The owner was even happy to see us return to buy more Glow fish.”
