I have to evaluate this dance school objectively. It has been several years, but I still feel uncomfortable every time I think about it.
I have three children in my family, and two of them were learning dance here at the time. Because I had to go to work, I couldn't take dance classes every day, so I communicated with the principal when I signed up. It was a class once a week, and I was never late. I leave early and ask for leave. When I need to rehearse or rehearse, I ask for leave and do not go to work but still cooperate with the teacher. Although the child only plays a small role, as a parent, I also try my best to educate my children and take the smallest things seriously. Even though we have no talent, our efforts will always pay off. With this mentality, I have been taking classes here.
Until one time when I came to pick up my children, I found that other children were rehearsing, and my two children were sitting next to them.
After this incident, I intentionally did not leave when my children were rehearsing, and stayed in the waiting area outside the teacher to observe. The same situation happened the next time, so I went to the principal to ask what was going on, and the principal said it was because the teacher was arranging rehearsal programs. , arrange the place, our children only come one day a week, other children come every day, we do not have a suitable place.
After I contacted the principal, I found out that the teacher arranged for them to join the team for practice, but did not correct their posture at all, while I was watching. He also asked the two of them to dance alone, allowing the children to dance in an ugly way without giving any guidance. This is watching them go through the moves and letting some parents waiting next to laugh at their children.
I am very angry about this matter:
1. When the principal accepted our students, he clearly knew that the children had one class per week. On average, the class fees we paid were much higher than those for children who paid monthly subscriptions. However, I clearly felt that I was being looked down upon. We could only come to one class, but we worked hard, never being late, leaving early, or asking for leave. We also didn’t ask the teacher. My children made rapid progress with one class a week.
2. The principal knows that we have one class per week and the progress is different from that of other children. Reasonable teaching methods and progress should be arranged. My children’s progress is slow and they cannot participate in performances. We don’t have to participate. We have paid the tuition. Should we arrange it? It’s a good time to study and teach students with all your heart. Where is the teacher’s ethics?
We later went to other dance schools, and the teacher made reasonable arrangements. Nothing like this has ever happened.
3. The teacher’s level is also limited. During the teaching process, the children do not correct them carefully when they make mistakes. They cannot express clearly what is wrong and what is correct. They have a perfunctory attitude and do not respect the children. They also disrespect themselves and leave the children cold. Sitting on the sidelines is very harmful to the child's heart. The child does not know what is wrong with him. This is something I can't forgive, I can never forgive, I can't forgive, I can't forgive! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
