I used to go here every week before Covid and never had a bad experience. Just a few days ago, I came to this branch again and the experience is totally different. Even though they had a great renovation and the interior is beautiful but the staff is unprofessional and rude . No one greeting the customer and the teller is very slow. Hopefully they can improve to provide a better customer service.

I had a great experience with this particular Bank of America. Mrs. Sarah Zhu was an outstanding employee of this branch. I opened a new account she very well mannered, polite in helping me set up my accounts there. I have never seen any employee as proficient as her. Bank of America should be very proud to have Sarah Zhu as their employee. Thank you again Sarah.

I went into this branch to discuss a long hold on a mobile deposit. No one in the branch, including the manager could help me. Customer service couldn't help me. I called customer service 2 days later and was told that they could have reversed the deposit and I could have taken the check to the bank it was drawn on, but no one informed me of that. Even after verifying that the check cleared the other bank, Bank of America refused to release the funds now citing that my account was overdrawn 2 times in the past 6 months. Wow! Where was this level of honesty when 3 days ago? How does this protect the bank! They already have the money and I've had this account for 25 years. I'm just stunned. I can't wait to get my money and stop ALL business dealings with these monsters. No one takes accountability, they just shuffle customers from one place to another instead of giving accurate information.

I came in to open an IRA. After the whole process the woman who helped me set it up told me not to come in to deposit small amounts because it was a lot of paperwork for them. What kind of bank says that to a customer? I am now looking to move all of my money out of BOA. P

The service was terrible. I've made an appointment but it's still an hour. One of the short haired Chinese women had a very bad attitude.

I now officially hate BofA. This one is the worst compared to other nearby branches. It feels as if managers at each branch make up their own rules as to what processes through because I got two completely different answers and action regarding the same exact thing.

Decent. If I had a choice, I'd never go with BoA for any of my banking needs. Unfortunately, my car loan was sold to BoA, so I had to go through them to deal with car payments. For some asinine reason, I could never make any principal payments online, and would need to go to a branch to take care of it. This branch, of the near 30 years that I've driven by it and, on seldom occasions, have visted, always has a line. ALWAYS HAS A LINE (before and during COVID!!). However, EVERY BoA that I've regrettably visited ALWAYS HAS A LINE. It's as if there is a possibility that maybe the practices or technology that they use just aren't efficient? I don't know. But, if you're planning to come by, just be aware that you may need to wait in line. On my last visit here, yes, I had to wait around 25 minutes before finally getting to the teller. This is during COVID. The teller was amazing! She was able to do everything that I needed to complete with a teller, and she explained everything thoroughly for me. In terms of customer service, probably the best ever! However, it's BoA's practices of what can print on the receipt that creates a bit of confusion. Thankfully, she was willing to show me her screen to let me know what was going on with my account so there wouldn't be an issue. Of course, I was still concerned because, hey, how many of us have dealt with an issue that a bank had said was all-good, and then got bit in the behind for? Anyways, again, thankfully, all good in the end. Would I come back? Only if I can deal with the same teller again!

The tellers at this branch are understanding and patient. They know the process of each transaction and take care of the customer, spending time and energy to explain without demeaning the listener. I appreciate their care and consideration.

Horrible lines at this branch. I visit this branch for work several times a week and unfortunately cannot go to a different location due to proximity. They do not have a business line that other branches do. Most of their clientele hold up the line and its frustrating as they average anywhere from 7-15 mins , at anytime an additional cashier can jump on to assist but they do not. You would think the length of the line would prompt the bankers to assist . NOPE! The friendliest experience comes from Michael and one of the ladies who is very bubbly. Those two make the errand easier. The other girls can't even bother to say good morning or hello . Even the atms in the lobby we've tried to buy pass the line and something has gone wrong ultimately leading us to complete transactions with the teller.

They don't even deserve 1 star but unfortunately Google doesn't have that option. Zero customer service. Will close my account with them.

Usually do my tractions over mobile and ATM, but sometimes you just have to go into the branch. This BoA has the slowest teller service of all the branches. Doesn't matter the line is super long, the people that work here just take their time.

Came by to make a deposit but they were already closed so I just had to use the ATM outside. Usually when I do arrive though not this experience, it's always a long line and kind of a hassle to get my deposit in.

Bank of Absolutely Nothing!!!!! I received a letter dated 4/5 for Unclaimed Property from back in 2018 on 4/13. I called to claim my money on 4/13. They advised me it would be 10-15 business days to receive my check. That is when the SCAM starts!!!! I called back after 27 business days to inquire on the status of my check? I was told it was requested on 4/14 as a result of my call on 4/13 but never actually sent??? So after 4 calls, transferred to people at Bank of America who had no clue what letter I was referring to, I got to a supervisor in the escalation dept. She said she would issue me a debit card that I could take into any branch and cash out my money without any fees! I received the card in the mail, went to my nearby Bank of America branch, into teller, Flora who said unless I withdrew a minimum of $2500.00 on the card, she could not help me? The balance was a fraction of that amount???? Feeling humiliated, I went to my car, called the 800 number inwhich I was advised by another employee to drive up to the atm and use the atm to withdraw without a fee. The Atm would not allow me to withdraw from a Bank of America Visa card without charging me a fee? So th he employee on the phone said, "just withdraw from your own bank" inwhich I told her I should not be paying a fee!! Then I was transferred to a supervisor in the escalation dept. Where a supervisor was going to issue a wedtern union cash payment to me and after 30 minutes on the phone we got disconnected and she did not attempt to call me back? After several attempts, I got in touch with another very helpful supervisor in escalation who was getting western Union set up but Western union was refusing to waive their fees for my situation with Bank of America. After a hold on the line, a guy named Keith was put on the phone claiming he was a supervisor in the unclaimed property dept. He said because I had accepted the debit card, I was unable to receive my funds via Western Union,(not what 2 other supervisors said), I could go to an Atm and withdraw 1/4th of the money owed to me because the balance owed to me will be eaten up in fees to get my money????SCAM!!!! Bank of America was awarded a government campaign for EDD and have screwed so many Americans with all their fees to get the money due to unemployed people. This bank should be closed down for unethical business practices, bait & switch etc....Biggest Red Flag for the government to investigate on a large scale!!!

I should have trusted the former 2 and 1 star reviews I Did read here on Yelp, but some how, I made the worst banking decision ever. Honestly, this is a Zero star review. This is the worst bank I have ever been to in ages.... I was told something else by a Chinese agent named Samuel J. He was so incompetent it's not funny. He told me about the bank's current promotions to lure new clients in. And barely a month later, serious crap already took place. Phone agents are even speechlessly useless! On the day I was closing account only after two months, it took a wasted 40min making an appointment via email. I could have run a grocery errand in 40-min instead I was Yelping time away. With an issue as such that I had with a fraudulent charge on a new account, it took them 40min to fix things? Untrustworthiness+inefficiency=failed experience. Do Not Use BofA. Not just Walnut branch, Any branch. Right after I closed my new account, I switched to Chase which was right down the block. Now, I'm very content there. Chase was very upfront, unlike BofA, very shady. S.M.H!!!! I wish EDd did Not use BofA for their services. Seriously, CA. Government?! Recall Newsom.
