"I had a bad experience at the Banfield hospital today. I checked into the appointment early, spent 20 minutes at the counter with the nurse trying to fill in information that could have been done more easily through email. She did not even know my dog's breed but tried to suggest dog food to me. Then she went on to talk about how a grain-free diet is related to enlarged hearts and advocated for the brand Science Hill. When I questioned the validity of her claim and suggested that a confounding variable (legume) might be responsible for the enlarged heart, she dismissed the statement.She later educated me about influenza, which I am well aware of. When I asked for a solution, she initially said there is none, but then contradicted herself by mentioning an influenza vaccine. I agreed to the vaccine and later found out there are boosters, meaning more money and visits than what I initially signed up for. In this incident, she withheld information I needed to know.After they took my dog, Bambi, they said they would call me when it was done. I waited for more than an hour and 35 minutes with no call. I went back to check, and she admitted they were done long ago and were just keeping my dog there to watch. I can watch and monitor the dog; I didn't pay you to play with my dog.When checking out the dog, she did not give me any feedback from the doctor. I had to call in and speak to three different people, be placed on hold for 15 minutes before I could speak to a doctor (not even the one who saw my pet) about the information I requested. Overall, I felt like the place is unprofessional and inefficient because of my experience with this nurse. She did not know how to read the room or do her job as a professional.

Freaking cancelled my appointment last minute when I get there because they have to close early. Business hour is until 6pm but they couldn’t find a doctor that can work past 4pm. My dog just needed an injection for her allergies which probably won’t take more than 10min but they still saying they couldn’t see my dog. Ridiculous

Received a phone call from them saying they will refund me the $95.16 because they didn't announce new office hour at anywhere or when drop off. Apparently, they change their overtime charge's name from "overnight fee" to "over hour fee". But I still NOT seeing the REFUND! Almost ONE MONTH now, I guess I should just call the bank to cancel that transaction.

Horrible service and complete liars! Had a 4:30 appointment. Told me it was for tomorrow at 12:30 (umm I work). Showed them my confirmation email AND my dog's name was on the board. Amanda told me that online appointments don't match up in their system but yet I had a confirmation and dog's name was up on board. Dio was totally dishonest as well. Then acted like they would do me a favor and see my dog anyway after the hassle. Manager Nathaly would not even speak with me. Prices are outrageous for such crappy service. If you can't even get your scheduling to line up how do I even trust you all with my dog! So disappointing! Lost a customer forever!

This place is only after your money. Don't go there. I have an optimum wellness plan for my dog which includes dental cleaning. They never told us that if your pet has seizures, there is a risk that he will not wake up after the procedure. After they took the blood test, which did not show any abnormal results, the doctor told us of the risk that our dog may either have a hard time waking up or may not even wake up at all. My son and I decided not to push forward with the dental cleaning. They charged us $192 because they had my son sign a paper that if the blood results were abnormal and we postponed the dental cleaning, we would be charged. The blood test did not have any abnormal results and we decided to not push forward because of what the doctor saidFirst of all, they should have told us of the risks before doing anything. But instead, they did the blood test and then told us of the risks, then they charged us $192.

Used to love this place because of its conveniency, until I get disgusted today. They've been rise their price for pets health plan without reminders and permission. They just decided to take away more and more money from my bank account without even announcing. Then today, they charged me 95 something dollars for picked up my cat at 7pm, which is right before they are closing. They were saying they close at 6, and after that they charge 95 something dollars per hour. That's even more expensive than human! What place is this? And I'm pretty sure this rule was not exist earlier this year. And I always picked my pet after 6 on their exam day, never got charged until today! When I got home, I saw my cat’s fur were pulled out and stuck on the zipper! Worst experience ever!!!

Been with them for 10 years and never really had an emergency . My dog had one finally and is scratching herself to death literally bleeding on both sides. I went in at 7am to hopefully get squeezed into an appointment as early as possible. The lady in the front told me no . Appointments only. No .. if there is an opening we will give u a call or . We can take ur dog and work on her if some one cancels. Just straight up told me to f off and go to another location and if I don't like it I can cancel and proceeds to give me number to cancel. If this is how u treat a customer that has been paying for 10 years then you know what you just lost urself a customer. I won't ever be coming back to a bansfield. Do urself a favor and find a real vet that cares. These guys don't give a s*** about ur pets. Also I want to add . Don't tell me u. Guys can't do it because plenty of time my appointments get "pushed" because there was an emergency that came in. So I guess my dog don't matter but others do.

Trash! Brought one cat in, the lady at the front desk spoke so fast and used all this jargon that I couldn't keep up with her. I only came in for a vaccine and they tried to upsell me as if I was at a car mechanic. She then quoted me a charge of $200, then it magically went up to $300, then up to $500. After all was said and done, they wanted me to get almost a $1000 worth of stuff when all I wanted was a vaccine. What was even worse was when I brought my 2nd cat, all she needed was a vaccine as well. My daughter mentioned that she was throwing up as an aside but the cat was primarily there for her shots. Well the vet only checked out her throwing up, charged for an expensive CBC that found nothing and forgot to do the vaccines. Never coming back here again! I would give zero stars if I could. I truly felt like I was at a car mechanic with all the upcharges.

Employees are always so helpful and considerate. I was behind a return with 1 register open. It was only me and the return in line and they were so kind to open another register for me.

My dog is very well taken care at this hospital. Staff showed concern and the doctors clearly explained the medical condition of my 16 years old dog and offered good advises and alternative solutions.
