40$ for uneven cut and shape of cut was different from which I asked for. Need to fix it somewhere else now. Don't recommend.

When I walked in there was an old lady who was sleeping on the chair. I thought she was a customer but she was a worker. I asked for an eyebrow wax and she didn't even have wax hot and melted she turned it on after I walked in and she applied cold wax that didn't even work. and she charges me 15 dollars. I gave her the money and walked out to make a yelp account because she was horrible.

This haircut place is amazing for haircuts. If you want the tik tok Korean perm, the owner will do an amazing job!! Other barbers always messes my hair up but this one is a god send

Nice finding this little gold mine across the street from Mt. Sac!! Barbara is the sweetest peach...omg so impressed by her customer service and her attempts at trying to please me the client. She is a wig specialist so i went to get my wig adjusted and she styled it soo beautifully, I was very happy with her work! Definitely worth checking her out ;)

Got a spontaneous walk in haircut. The girl who cut my hair was filled with energy and enthusiasm. Her skill was definitely demonstrated and I almost fell sleep because of the amount of relaxation..

It saddens me to write this review. I have been coming to this place to have my hair permed by Ms. Tobbie for years. I liked her because she seemed sincere and attentive. She told me before that she didn't want too many customers at once since she wanted to take care of one customer at a time, and couldn't stand the pressure. Today when I came, she had another lady working with her (usually she worked by herself), and there were many customers. I patiently waited when she asked me to let her do others first. When waiting, I saw the other worker skillfully styling another female customer's long hair, so I asked her if she could style my daughter's long hair next time. After that, I could feel the anger and pettiness Ms. Tobbie had towards me. She left me there waiting while taking care of others first, even those who finished and had to wait for their drivers to pick them up. After she rinsed my hair, she told me to immediately get up to wash another man's hair even though my hair still had chemicals, and it wasn't time yet (she usually sets the timer for 10 minutes). Not only that, she said she would finish me last, after letting the other two customers go first. I was sitting there, the water still dripping from my hair and soaking the back of my blouse. Finally, I was the only one left and she asked me to go to her chair. Abruptly, she then asked me to move again to the other worker's station for her to finish me up. I obediently moved to the other seat. Ms. Tobbie kept on grinning, sarcastically commenting how much she thought I liked the other hairstylist, so she would "make me more beautiful" and so on. She circled around me, continuing to press, "You like it, right? You like it!" It was the last straw, and I told Ms. Tobbie that if she already cut my hair, she should be the one to finish it up. The other stylist did not know my preferences, and if she wanted to pass me over, she should have asked for my consent. Eventually, when another customer came in, Ms. Tobbie apologized to me, saying that she was too busy and neglected me. She even admitted that she was being petty and jealous when I praised the other worker. (She was like this before, as well. It is very easy for her to snap, is it because she is getting too old now?.) I then told her that it was unfortunate, but she would no longer be my hairstylist. The stars are for the other silent worker, who was patiently fixing my hair, washing it twice even after blow-drying it, and trying to dry my blouse. I think her name is Sara, the previous owner of the salon. Now they are both working together, which is the least reason to be petty or jealous about.
