I’d like to share my disappointing experience at Aldi. When I visited the store, the cashier named Hannah was rushing through my checkout even though I had three separate orders for instacart totaling over $250. She mixed up my items in the basket, making it difficult to keep my orders organized. Receipt# 4518 479/079/001/027 , 4527 479/079/001/027, 4519 479/079/001/027
When I politely asked her to slow down or hold on for a moment, she ignored my request and continued rushing, showing little consideration for the volume of my purchases. After completing my second order, she even told me to step aside and go to the back of the line so that the next customer could check out before I finished my remaining order — which was completely inappropriate and unacceptable.
When I asked who her manager was, she falsely claimed she was the manager — which was not true. The actual manager, Stone, later confirmed this and took the time to listen to my concern. According to Stone, this was not the first complaint made about Hannah, which makes the situation even more concerning.
Given her repeated unprofessional behavior, lack of customer consideration, and dishonesty, I strongly believe that Hannah should not continue to be employed at this store or represent Aldi in any capacity.
Thank you, Stone, for your professionalism and for addressing the issue. I sincerely hope Aldi takes appropriate action to ensure customers are treated with respect and care moving forward.

The female employees here are very rude and they don’t treat customers like customers. Every time, they take the items out of the bag to scan them, but they never put them back into the bag. They just throw the bag and the items separately into the cart. When I ask why they do that, they say it’s because they need to take the items out to scan them. But if that’s the case, shouldn’t they put the items back into the bag after scanning?
Why do I have to put the items back into the bag myself when the employees are the ones who took everything out and left it scattered?
I pay for my items, but the employees take the items out of the bags, throw them into the cart, don’t care whether I take them or not, don’t greet me, and every time I leave the store, I feel upset.

AGE DISCRIMINATION BY ALDI EMPLOYEE. EMILY. Shoppers BEWARE of complete disregard for elder people. And any minimal customer service. EMILY was my cashier and she was so rude and with the worse attitude ever. Unbelievable ALDI stores would hire and maintain a store cashier/employee like this. Disgusting behavior. Emily RUDELY scolded me for not placing my items more quickly on the belt. Emily snapped at the customer behind me for placing her divider on the belt and yelled at her to remove it. ALDI CORPORATE will be hearing from me. Age discrimination is a violation and needs to be seriously dealt with at minimal Suspend Emily. She definitely should not work in a SERVICE environment. Toxic. I have to go see my doctor now as my blood pressure escalated from the trauma. I asked for the MANAGER and she made the excuse of “well there’s so many more of you (meaning shoppers) than there are of us, we are short staffed. ALDI CORPORATE needs to know this AND address these issues as it’s not the paying customers fault. So disappointed.

Horrible cashier I experienced on Valley blvd in Walnut. She was rushing me, and didn’t even start placing my groceries in my bag, and she was putting another customer’s in my cart. I told her she made me feel rushed and wasn’t pleasant. She just kept speaking back to me so rude and mean. Her name is Emily, this was on October 14, 4:33pm. I don’t even want to shop at that Aldis and will be letting my family and friends know how bad my experience was at at this store with this rude cashier and she kept egging me on….

First time having a cashier that was racist and mocked us, repeating my translations to my mother in a mocking tone. He tried to rush us and made faces to the next customer who was white saying that we were too slow with our card transactions. We asked how much was left on our card and he said “how would I know, I wasn’t paying attention.” I have been to aldi multiple times and this was my first time having a racist cashier.

Store is clean and organized. Excellent prices and while selection is limited, they make great choices of what to stock which makes shopping quick and easy.
