We have been bringing our pooch here for his annual exams and vaccines since we adopted him 5 years ago. They are very responsive and friendly. We have had to have some more intensive treatment too. He had a cyst that they drained and did a biopsy on. It was benign but we decided to have it removed because it kept filling up. The procedure went smoothly, they called as soon as he was awake and able to be picked up, they called us to check in on him that night and the next day. We are so happy with the treatment he receives at this veterinary hospital that come all the way from Oakland for them.

Their services are very expensive, but they’re very nice and take very good care of their pets. I’ve been going there often for the past year and a half, and really appreciate their dedication to my dog

I would NEVER recommend this vet to anyone. My dog died because they refused to check his bloodwork for diabetes although I asked them if they were sure it's not diabetes. He got bloodwork in January that showed hypothyroidism, but when the dr called me back (Dr. Beam) she failed to mention anything was wrong with his thyroid. By the time he started showing symptoms of diabetes a month after the bloodwork, they decided to recheck his blood results and told me he possibly has hypothyroidism... they confirmed his hypothyroidism and even though he had severe symptoms of diabetes, but they didn't check at all and I asked several times if they thought it could be diabetes. Dr. Wong kept saying no. my dog went into DKA and died. I tried everything I could to save him. This place is a joke! Do not try to save money like I did ... take your pet to someone who will let you advocate for your dog instead of saying "no" to very clear symptoms. My dog suffered for days in an emergency vet because they did not want to do a simple test for diabetes when I asked. Also- the office manager Monique Ward refuses to call anyone back in regard to their dog dying and seeking reimbursement ... so please just don't go here. The way they have not dealt with anything in my case is absolutely disgusting - even after Monique said in an in person meeting after my dogs death she would try to work with me and try to get me reimbursed.. You will definitely be sorry if you take your pet here!

Great atmosphere and appreciated the dialog with Dr. Beam. She is a good one. We've been looking for a new vet and have found a home!

This vet hospital is really homey and it was such a quick visit. They're on time and my cat wasn't as nervous as usual.

Our pug dre had his allergies come in hot with the seasons changing. Booked an appointment on Friday and here we are Monday morning ready to get him taken care of. The staff is very friendly and patient with Dre since he's a Covid dog his anxiety is a little high. Thank you Ygnacio Valley team!

So pleased to have finally found a vet that I feel like I can trust! Everyone was very friendly, they were thorough and explained everything - including what all they needed to do and the charge for each service - and then they worked with my budget to cut down the cost a little. Incredibly thankful!

Terrific experience so far with Ygnacio Animal Hospital. Dr. Wong listens so well and has a great bedside manner with our elderly dog. We emailed some medical records ahead of our first visit and it was clear she had not only received them but had read them carefully. The staff has been great too. I appreciate that before any procedure they present us a draft invoice so we know exactly how much it's going to cost. Very happy to have found this practice.
