The best and cleanest boutique thrift store in the area! Really great prices on furniture too! Super sweet manager and staff! I just picked up this kitchen hutch for a steal!

Small shop. Very nice quality clothing and other items when I was there, with good prices. Short hours though.

Score! Found exactly what I wanted at the 50% off sale today/tomorrow. This isn't a huge place but the prices are good, I had no trouble parking, they had a little bit of everything and most importantly -- it's not trashy stuff! I may go back tomorrow for the cute leather cross body purse :)

One of nicest Thrift stores in the area. Always clean with items well displayed. Fair prices and they have an amazing sale every year on Christmas decor.

I came across the street from the mercantile, which was nice but definitely not thrifty. This is more like a goodwill/salvation army situation, which is what I was looking for. There weren't really any vintage clothes or accessories when I was there--what I'm finding is that all of the thrift stores in the East bay seem to be totally picked over by resellers, and I didn't see much that suited me... BUT there was a very redeeming quality for me! In the back corner, there is a whole area for crafty supplies, including tons of vintage and modern yarns and fabrics, other fiber arts kits, crochet hooks and knitting needles, embroidery and quilting supplies. I had to restrain myself with the yarn--there were some really cool options in the $1-$3 range so if you're looking to save some old yarn, upcycle, or reuse old material, definitely check this place out. For me, I wasn't really feeling it so much when it comes to actual thrifting, but I got something I wasn't looking for instead, and maybe that's the thing. Maybe you'll find something unexpected that you didn't even know you wanted :)

Would give 0 stars if I could. There’s literally nothing in here. Very small selection and they’re still making people wear masks. No thanks.

WOW - this is a fun hidden gem in Walnut Creek! The parking lot is super small (I think space for less than a dozen cars) but on this particular visit someone was just leaving so it worked out perfectly. The store itself is on the smaller side but well stocked and organized. There are all kinds of kitchenware, houseware, books, clothing, etc. Thrifting has become a more regular activity as you never know what you might find each time you visit (and often at GREAT deals). It's also better for the environment! Our haul included a sturdy rolling pin, old school stainless steel pan (with lid!) and a puzzle. They were running a 10% off entire purchase so we felt like we scored a great deal. The total came out to only around $12. The puzzle kept us entertained for weeks! Highly recommend if you are in the area. CC accepted. Staff are nice and the proceeds are going to a good cause as well. Mask required before entering (they are provided if you forget yours). Donations accepted on certain days/time of the week - check online for details.

I was impressed by the organization of the shop, and high quality of offerings. The staff is really passionate and very knowledgeable - ask about what you want and they may have something "in back" (that just came in). Much easier to search versus other outlets. Better pricing as well - 10-inch Lodge cast-iron skillet for $10, cool Heart-shaped (Gothy) metal necklace for my daughter for 4 bucks!

It's a nice thrift store but i've always had my dog in the store until one day they decided to kick me out even though i had her on my arms. She's a small dog that doesn't cause any problems. It's a cool thrift store but doesn't make sense how they can sell dog stuff and yet don't allow small dogs inside. Don't suggest bringing your dog though

I've lived super close to this thrift shop, but had never gone in until today. I regret not having come sooner because it's the best thrift store I've been to in years. They have a variety of name brand clothing, shoes, decor, sewing supplies, knitting supplies, and home decor. I came in 30 minutes before closing, but I was able to get some clothes and decorations.
The staff are very kind and are doing their best to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. They have enforced social distancing in the store by putting stickers to keep your distance in line and reminder to keep your distance from others. The staff sanitizes the baskets that are used for putting your stuff in and have plastic partitions at the cash register. Current hours are 10AM-2PM Tuesday through Saturday.
I love that they donate their proceeds to John Muir. I will definitely be coming back again.

Out of all the thrift stores, I have been to in Contra Costa County this one is the best one! I always find great finds and the staff is super friendly. 10/10!!
