Well kept, but not best. Beautiful roses

We booked the gardens in mid May for our wedding and it was a gorgeous wedding venue! It offers a spacious, beautiful garden teeming with blooming roses, different garden areas to explore, a super cute gazebo ceremony space, a nice cocktail area near the reception room, and the reception room with large windows for plenty of natural light. The lot has ~50 free parking spaces.
The rental rate is fairly reasonable for the venue space and what's offered. In addition to the main spaces, there's a getting ready room downstairs available to add on, seating for the ceremony, circle/rectangular (not full width) tables for dinner, and a few cocktail tables for the bar area downstairs. Management allows for a fair amount of DIYing and independent vendor selections, with the only exceptions being a preferred catering list with good selection and off list caterers allowed with a fee and vetting. Professionals also must put up any hanging decorations in the reception room, and decor can't be hung directly off of the garden structures and reception room walls. We communicated with Jenna throughout the planning process. She was super responsive and helpful, answering every question we sent her way.
Overall, I loved the gardens for our wedding and would recommend it to others!

We hosted our wedding at the gardens this year in October. It was a wonderful ceremony, and a wonderful space. Unfortunately, due to situations out of their control, we couldn't host the reception, but it was perfect for the ceremony and cocktail hour. The venue does have required caterers, but the caterers are accessible for most price ranges. The people we spoke to were also very kind working with us and they kept in contact with us throughout the process. We highly recommend this as a beautiful space to celebrate the important events in your life.

Beautiful garden, but not great for hosting events. Think of it more as getting a permit for the space and that's it. The staff here don't do anything to prevent the public from coming in aside from posting a couple easy to ignore signs by the main entrance and locking a gate at the side entrance. When I asked what they were doing to prevent people from driving into the parking lot, the staff just shrugged at me and said we don't do that. The Gardens even hosted a plant sale that ended at 2pm when the wedding reservation started at 2pm, so people were still lingering around while we were trying to secure the space and get everything set up. On top of that, there was dog poop and trash in the ceremony space that we had to ask the staff to clean up. Midway through the event, some family who wanted to take pictures for their daughter's quinceanera threw a fit that they weren't allowed in and literally kicked over the decorations for the wedding.

The Heather Farm garden is a delightful, compact garden adorned with an array of flowers, fruit trees, and ever-changing seasonal blossoms. Numerous roses are currently in full bloom, complemented by a charming butterfly garden and a small children’s garden, where grapes are flourishing. Ample shaded spaces offer an ideal setting for a leisurely summer picnic. Accessing the garden is most convenient from the adjacent parking area.Picnic area: Shaded grassy picnic area

We eloped at the Gardens at Heather Farm and couldn't be happier with our decision. The staff was kind, responsive, and easy to work with and the garden itself was magical. There was a faint smell of roses and so many colorful roses in bloom on our day. There's free parking and the garden is free to enter, just check their social media (I look at their instagram) to make sure they're open, as they do close for some special events. The only potential con is if you're just visiting the garden area, there are no restrooms available - you would have to walk to the restrooms at Heather Farm Park which is connected to this Garden but can be a bit of a walk!
