Outstanding fine & rare bookseller. Books are meticulously and accurately described and Laurelle Swan's inventory is notable for the fine condition of her books. Books are, for the most part, fairly priced in the middle of the typical range from comparable booksellers. Customer service is exceptional - Laurelle will remember your requests, diligently hunt for difficult to find private press books and promptly notify you if she can successfully acquire a copy. Swan's Fine Books is a valuable resource for serious collectors.

I ordered a 2 volume set of a 1913 history book. I received personal email updates about the progress of shipping for the books. When they arrived I was amazed at the care Ms Swan took in packing them for shippingThere was a plastic dust cover, a layer of paper, a plastic bag, a double layer of bubble wrap, then a final layer of bubble wrap around both books before they were put in a box. Very classy treatment?

Excellent selection with fair prices. Bought a signed volume by mail sight unseen but it arrived in better condition than described. That’s integrity, folks!

Swan Fine's Books has a variety of novels to choose from. From the rarest editions to signed copies, this is a must for those who have a love for books and collecting. I found the most beautiful copy of Now in November by Josephine Johnson here and I could not be happier with my purchase!

this is an amazing bookstore, not just because it doesn't have a coffee bistro attached to it like a fetid barnacle on Moby Dick's ventral expanse. Clean and organized, with a good selection of rare volumes and a courteous, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended for patrons of all ages.

An overall wonderful and relaxing experience. The owner is attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable. You are free to browse and read for as long as you like. All books are used, you will not find new books here, and prices range from $20 to thousands depending on factors such as age, rarity, and condition.

Incredible place! A hidden gem. If your into old books you can get lost in there for hours. Lots of first edition books. Small and hidden behind a yoga shop. Owner is very helpful. Prices are fair.

An amazing to treat to what a bookstore should feel like. Having walked in about 2 years ago I knew I was in an amazing place. The proprietor Laurelle is highly knowledgeable and an amazing host. A true bibliophile I would highly recommend stopping in and viewing the amazing collection of books. In a time when technology dominates our daily lives it's great to escape into this amazing bookstore. So if you are a collector or just browsing for a great read stop in and take a look at the collection, you can even sit and read in the store. Apart from the collection, if you are in the market for rare books which are hard to find, Laurelle is an amazing resource.

You ought to visit this place if you're into books. They have a nice selection of unique, old, nice and valuable books. It's kind of out of the way and there are several businesses around it and finding parking can be tricky.
