This place is great! My grandma got a regular mani and I got the hard gel manicure and I’m obsessed it’s so beautiful and feels very strong! Everyone working was very kind and attentive! Will definitely be back!

This place is great! They fix up my feet nice and good. I run and play basketball all the time so my feet get beat up but after leaving Smiley they are presentable once again. The ladies are funny and do a great job papering me. Special shout-out to Deena for staying after closing to finish without rushing because I arrived a little late in the day. Sorry for keeping you ?.

I genuinely dislike leaving bad reviews and the people here were really sweet so I feel bad but I regret booking here.
Not only was I told the size and shape of mail I have been getting for 3 years (in another state) wasn’t possible but they also didn’t want to do the simple design I had picked out after telling me they could (literally 4 lines) so they just gave me something else. Some of the nails are thinner than a natural nail and some are at weird angles and not properly attached so I’m terrified they’re going to break below a comfortable level, one has already broken (luckily in a less painful area)
On top of this my finger was cut with a file that appeared to have been used on someone else and is now infected.

My mother & I had such an amazing experience here! Everyone was so nice - they were patient with us & worked quickly but with attention to detail. They use tub liners & you can see that the tools have been sanitized properly (something I really appreciate but have been struggling to find with other near by places). So happy to have found my new nail spot!

My mom had Ngoc & I returned for a second time and had Deena! They both are lovely and so great at what they do! Deena helped me pick the perfect color (couldn’t pick between blue or purple & she went and found this color shift for me!) I have allergies and all of the techs were very careful not to get anything on my skin. My dry, stubborn cuticles usually get made fun of by nail staff and I didn’t get one negative comment at Smiley- it was so relaxing & I am so grateful! They have a private parking lot so you don’t have to worry about Walnut Creek street parking. Also their prices are great for the service they provide! Tried to catch the color shift on video when it caught the light ?

Sad to write this review as everyone is so nice at this nail salon but I got a pedicure and when I took the nail polish off two weeks later let's just say my nails were not normal and I'm still dealing with it two months later. I can only assume that the tools used were not washed properly.
