Jobey the owner/ mechanic is a lunatic. Like the previous reviews have said- he doesn't deserve my business.

The owner yelled at my parents with my disabled brother in the back. It was an unmarked parking spot and he proceeds to yell at my mother who was trying to buckle up my disabled brother by trying to get them away from his business. Which he proceeds to yell at my father and tries to hit him with a car. Don’t go to a failing business... I don’t understand how he even has five stars on here. Owner has mental problems and needs help...

The owner is a complete j*** and customer service is atrocious. Find another spot if you can. There are better people who deserve your business.

Excellent work on my elderly parent's Mercedes. Car was done earlier than promised and Joby was professional personable and knowledgeable. He spent extra time patiently answering questions I'm sure he's heard 1000 times. Highly recommended A+++

Joby’s the best. If he can’t fix it: nobody can!

In response to most of the negative reviews, it's important to go in with an open mind. This is not a trip to Disneyland. You're going to an auto mechanic. I had some issues with previous service at a different independent Saab mechanic so I looked to Scania Auto Services for some assistance. Joby is a very direct communicator, which may be off-putting to some people, but he was very clear in his methods and does high quality work. He is a well trained mechanic and knows Saab cars like no other. He did a fine job on my vehicle, and I look forward to working with him in the future.

I drove 187 miles to have Joby do a routine maintenance on 10/01/2019. Ever since the warranty on my 2000 9.3 ran out, I've been going to Scania for any service and preventive maintenance. I always take his suggestions seriously. My car is running great, thanks to Joby.

Joby is an excellent Saab mechanic. He really knows Saabs. He does really great work. He also doesn't want you to spend money needlessly. He has steered me away from things that would have cost me money & made him money, when the work was unnecessary. He has been really ethical in his dealings with me. I appreciate having a person like him that I can go to when my car needs work.

Unlike some other Saab shops, Joby at Scania wants to solve your Saab's issues, not plan a series of repairs over months. He obviously has deep knowledge of these cars. Another shop would fix my car for a few weeks until I would get more engine lights. After Joby's work, it's running like new with no issues. That's amazing for a 14 year old 9-3! If you want to enjoy an older Saab, do yourself a favor and bring it here for service and repairs.

Joby is great! While it is true that he's a no nonsense kind of guy, that's exactly what I look for in any service personnel. Most importantly however is that he is true expert and professional. If you love your Saab and want to keep it on the road for years to come and pass it down to your grandkids, Joby will tell you exactly what you need without blowing you smoke and superfluous charges. I wish he could take all my cars.

Proprietor Joby Magnussen really knows SAAB and Volvo cars well and how best to take care of them with an eye toward an owner’s interest in safety, reliability, and economy.
