Wow. Amazing customer service from Jesus at the cashiers. He helped me get additional discounts by enrolling me onto the Safeway app, and he also taught me how to get all the coupons. These were very simple things but I appreciate that he even took the time, care, and consideration, for his excellent customer service. Job well done, Jesus!

Please tell your employees (brunette woman, 2/10, 5:30pm) to stop whining about their jobs loudly on the floor by the self checkout and Starbucks counter. After working a full day in retail/hospitality myself, the last thing I need to hear when heading home is people complaining about their jobs. However justified it may be, tell them to take it to their boss/HR privately and not argue in front of the customers. Looks really badly on Safeway.

Be prepared to spend half of your lunch break waiting for the snail-pace deli/hot food employees to make one sandwich.

It seems like Safeway don't train their employees properly, last week my girlfriend and i were passi g by this store so i suggested to grab a couple of beers, when we got to the register, cashier or checker Felicia asked for ID so my girlfriend showed her her Passport since we both lost our Ca ID on a Trip,Felicia refused rudely to take her passport,as a professional bartender certified by ABC know for a fact that passports are a valid form of ID issued by government. we asked to talk to the manager, she approached to the register and told Felicia it was ok to take it,Felicia got really upset after that maybe because she realized she was wrong, and started throwing our groceries around lol. that shows lack of training of your employees which makes your company look bad, employees like Felicia makes you guys look RACIST and untrained,i will never come back to this store.

Why you guys charge me for a bag without asking me for 4 snikers? I am not about the 0.10 cent but that mean your respect or disrespect your clients. Bathrooms are dirthy and smell bad.

When you call customer service, after being on hold six or seven minutes, someone picks up the phone and ends the call without answering. Happened repeatedly. Too bad, because some of the employees in person helpful and professional.

I just have to thank Jason who is always so kind and patient with me when I have a question at the Broadway Safeway Supermarket. Safeway please give him a paid day off and a free gift card for all his hard work and excellent customer service. Thanks, Jason. Have a wonderful day. Michele

ive been going here since i was a kid but lately ive stopped going. its totally sketch at night, and i mean SKETCH. i always see homeless people in the front of the store just lounging around. i once saw a girl literally walk out with her groceries without paying- like straight up just walked out, no one stopping her, right infront of me. yeah, i think that alone just says abt the people who come here at night, so i recommend only coming here during daytime.the store is old inside and the floor is all sticky around the refrigeration areas. once i grabbed a bottle of yogurt and it was all sticky and gross on the side. i wouldnt come here frequently if i was you.

It's not horrible, but it's not Trader Joe's, Costco, or Whole Foods.Prices are wildly high for the quality.I really only shop at Safeway if: it's the only option for miles in any direction, a gun is to my head, or we're nearby and need something bad enough. It's pretty clean, but I will try to not come back. A similar loaf of bread is 3x Trader Joe's prices. Wild.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Safeway located in Walnut Creek, CA. As soon as I walked through the doors, I was greeted with a friendly and warm atmosphere that made me feel at home. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the store and the organization of the goods on the shelves.Safeway in Walnut Creek offers a broad selection of groceries, including a bakery, deli, and fresh produce section that left me spoilt for choice. I was particularly drawn to the fresh produce section, where a variety of fruits and vegetables were displayed in a rainbow of colors. The freshness and quality were evident, and I was delighted to take home some of the tastiest and crunchiest apples I've had in a while. The bakery and deli sections were equally impressive, boasting a wide assortment of breads, pastries, meats, and cheeses. The aroma wafting from the bakery was enticing, and the freshly baked goods tasted as good as they smelled. What I appreciated most about this Safeway was the convenience it offered. The store layout was logical and easy to navigate, which made my shopping experience smooth and hassle-free. Additionally, the store hours are very accommodating, opening at 5:00 AM and closing at 11:00 PM daily, making it easy for me to shop at a time that best suits my schedule.Lastly, the staff at Safeway deserves a mention for their professionalism and friendliness. They were always willing to assist, helping me locate items on my list and answering any queries I had with a smile. In conclusion, my visit to Safeway in Walnut Creek was an enjoyable one. The wide selection of products, the pleasant shopping environment, and the friendly service make this grocery store a gem in the neighborhood. I look forward to many more shopping trips at Safeway, Walnut Creek

this store has had some very unique and great foods offered by independent producers. Then they steadily remove the item off the shelves and replace the space with some very large company's products that are often inferior in quality and taste. Case in point - Boars head - full of chemicals that cause me rashes. This store has the potential to be so much better, but is not managed well at all.another example of how safeway is getting rid of the interesting and better than national brands..stocking up with all the stuff that contains the yucky stuff. Even a month ago, they had Nature's Bakery bars. Now they got rid of them and all you see is Nature Valley or something from Post or another national brand.be careful when purchasing...there was a price of $4.99 for members underneath a package containing 2 raw lobster tails. However, I noticed that the price on the package said for members it is $10 off and so was marked $9.99. I asked an employee about it and he kept repeating himself that the price label refers to ONE lobster tail. Yet, I pointed out to him that it was placed right below the package containing two lobster tails with the price that is twice what the label is showing. HE DIDN'T GET IT. That is a no no. Deceptive advertising dude!
