Limor is amazing! So knowledgable, kind, and patient. With her help, I managed to find an incredible dress at exactly my price point during my first bridal appointment ever. The team was also super responsive and communicative throughout. Very, very happy with the whole experience :)

As soon as they got my phone number, they called me incessantly... 17 times in the last 8 days to be exact. They've called me multiple times daily, even after I spoke with someone and said I'd have to get back to them to see if I want an appointment. While I can appreciate their hustle, this is a terrible customer experience before even stepping foot in their store. Also makes me think that if they're that aggressive with phone calls, maybe they're desperate for business. Who knows. I ultimately got turned off from the whole thing and will be going elsewhere.

I'm over the moon about my experience with the bridal specialists at Ricki Dalal and especially my dress! Everything about planning a wedding is stressful, fortunately for me finding a dress was the absolute best part;). I felt like a beauty queen trying in dresses with Sophia and Limor! Just like that I came out of the dressing room and sure enough found the perfect dress which of course Sophia chose for me! I was able to customize a few things which took the dress to another level. Thank you Riki Dalal!!!

Riki Dalal doesn’t even deserve one star! Horrible experience with this store. I had no problem giving them a deposit for our appointment, as we had a full itinerary for the weekend. Shopping for my daughter’s wedding dress, was a weekend planned out for several weeks before, to ensure that her bridal party would be able to attend. The day before we arrived, I received a confirmation text that we were all set for the appointment with Kelly. The minute I landed, I received a text message from Kelly asking if we could postpone our appointment for the following weekend, because they were changing their location. With 4 bridesmaids, including myself and my daughter who all traveled far to attend this weekend search for the dress, she was expecting us to reschedule for the following weekend! I was so upset, and asked for my deposit back, since we were not able to all come back the following week. After agreeing to the deposit to be refunded back to me within 2-3 days, we are now going on day 13, and I have still not received my deposit back! We ended up saying YES to the dress at Janene’s in Alameda. We had the best experience at Janene’s and I highly recommend not wasting your time with Riki Dalal!

By far the best bridal shop in Walnut Creek! I had been looking for a wedding dress for a very long time unsuccessfully. I made an appointment with Riki Dalal and the customer service was outstanding. Limor was the person who helped me. I felt so well cared for and listen to, and Limor helped me find the perfect dress based on what I described I was looking for. My stress level has dropped significantly now that I have my dress! Thank you, Limor and Riki Dalal bridal!

Sophia of RD did in fact quote me guesstimates for alterations when I ordered my gown. I did try on a size 4 in this shop. Whether it was the same style or not. It was their standard size 4. These dresses are NOT made here or in Israel. They're made in Ukraine. Yes I did wish Sophia the same bad luck I experienced with her at Riki Dalal. If ordering items from this shop, record your interactions. Get your measurements taken by experienced tailors, not incompetent children employed by RD.Ask to see their sizing guide and read their contract thoroughly. Otherwise you will end up hating your wedding dress. Please see the other yelp review below, for the bride's comments on color discrepancy. Limor is the manager being combative on my reviews. Please be vigilant and do not ask for customizations here. Kingsley James on Mt. Diablo Blvd. Is a better choice.

Thank you Sophia for being so helpful, kind, and just awesome through the process. The appointment was for my best friend she loved that Sophia was sweet and made her feel comfortable. Riki is a small shop but the selection they provide is more than enough. All dresses are gorgeous and in style. My friend walked out with her bridal dress!

It's been a month since my wedding and wanted to let everything settle so I could write a correct and balanced review of my experience. On the first visit to the salon, Sophia was amazing. She was flexible and accommodating and showed me many different styles. There was a promotion that applied $700 to customizations - I applied it to have my dress made to measure and to make the belt detachable. I settled on the Louise dress and the Diaz overskirt, and I was EXCITED and thrilled. Roll forward a few months and I pick up my dress and skirt. I was admittedly 25 minutes late to my 30-minute try-on/pickup appointment due to terrible traffic, but the very first thing I picked up on was that the Diaz skirt was a completely different white. When I brought it up, I was told that it was because the lighting was different on the day I picked out the dress. Yes, it was cloudy vs sunny, but it shouldn't have made that much of a difference. Also, important to note is that I lined the sheer Louise dress in a nude color. The belt was also very tight, but I was told it needed to "synch" the dress. The cups were also about an inch too high and it gaped in the back -- so much for made-to-measure and using the $450 credit towards it. To have the belt detach was an additional $300. I was told I only needed to add a few darts and the alterations should very minimal and not expensive at all.I immediately took it to my tailor and the work that Riki Dalal said and what the professionals quoted was stark. He also picked up on the clashing whites - the Louise dress is a more ivory color and the Diaz skirt was a BRIGHT WHITE. Additionally, the belt was at least three inches too short! Then of course there needed to be lots of reconstruction on the dress to make it fit. The total alteration bill was $1200 for the Louise dress alone. I did ask for a credit or money back due to the fact that I spent the $700 credit and an additional $50 for the made-to-measure and the belt's ability to attach/detach. I was met with a stone wall and refusal. To the shop's credit, they swiftly went into action to get the belt remade. Even though I did gain a bit of weight between the measurements and the belt, it was a 2cm difference, not three inches. I took the dress and skirt back to Riki Dalal 10 days later (I got covid and quarantined for the recommended 10 days to ensure that I would not infect anyone else) and held the skirt that was delivered and the one in the showroom side by side. Guess what - there was a big color discrepancy! I also tried on the Louise dress and my skin tone and the nude lining they put in were so close that the dress looked the same lined/unlined - a point that they did concede. At this point, I was talking to Limor, the shop manager, and she kept on saying it was because the one in the showroom was years old and was aged and that the lighting in the showroom was terrible and she needed to fix it. However, since I got the skirt made to measure she really didn't want to take it back. Limor did offer to severely discount any sample dress that I found that could work, but I didn't want to be stuck with a ballroom skirt that I'd never wear. Eventually, I was able to convince her to exchange the Diaz skirt for a sample dress that needed extensive work. To get that dress fixed it was an additional $1400. I asked Limor if she at this point could give me a refund on anything as I was severely over budget at this point and was rejected. Honestly, the whole ordeal less than a month before my wedding really put a damper on it. It caused a HUGE amount of stress. I wasn't even in love with my dresses by the time the wedding rolled around and by that point I really wished I had just gone with another vendor. Even looking at the photos I'm not in love with the dresses. I have such huge regret over going to Riki Dalal and would honestly caution people away from them. For transparency:Dress & Alteration budget: $4kActual cost: $7374.13Riki Dalal: $4774.13-Lousie dress: $2390 -Lining: $450-Diaz skirt

I’ve walked past Riki Dalal often but I’ve never gone inside. As I became frustrated with my dress hunt my amazing mom stopped by RD one day and met Sophie!Sophie left such an amazing impression on my mom I made an appointment. RD & Sophie were very accommodating and kind. They didn’t apply any pressure and made me feel so comfortable. There were other stores that carried other brands I was interested in - but I was determined to buy a dress from RD because I wanted to give Sophie the sale!Riki Dalal is so lucky to have her - she truly is a gem!

I’d really like to rate the experience higher because the sales associate was so kind and the gowns are unique/pretty, but the appointment just ended up taking time from both of us without finding something I liked enough to proceed.#1 I had to schedule a weekday appointment because I don’t believe in paying for an appointment to be sold on items. The weekend appointment slots require a deposit that will be deducted from your total if you make a purchase. I would expect this if the garments being shopped for were either very specific/custom or the items were not several thousands of dollars. I get that it is to help prevent cancellations or just frivolous appointments, but it put me off.#2 there was only one person on hand to assist. I had the last appointment of the day and it showed. Again, not a negative mark against the associate. The company should consider staff overlapping and expertise when shopping for this attire.#3 The store had one dress that fit me. One. I understand that I am a plus size bride, but at least having one or two pieces from the plus collection available or some samples in a size 14, would accommodate larger sizes. I was able to get one straight sized gown on, which was lovely but not for a beach ceremony.Over all I feel like I misspent my time and the associate’s.

The store was so nice! And our consultant made us feel so comfortable (even when we didn’t like the dress). She ran the appointment smoothly, making sure we were on time and stayed focused. It was an amazing experience!
