Been back and forth trying to figure out what I’m dealing with and the staff have always been so professional,kind and gentle. I’m supposed to go to Fairfield tomorrow, I hope it’s the same atmosphere??

Wonderful and kind humans who genuinely care about your well-being work here. As an extremely anxious person, the staff here were able to assuage my fears and make me feel very comfortable. Even though this clinic is a bit away from my home, I will most certainly revisit it for the amazing care I received here

I got my Pap smear done by Madeline Spahr and she made me feel so comfortable and taken care of. The whole team at planned parenthood worked to get me seen quickly and everyone I encountered was very kind and friendly.

I had the very, very best experience here. The entire staff was so kind, welcoming, comforting, and clearly extremely adept and trauma-informed: from the escort who took me inside, to the front desk person, to the doctor who performed my procedure, to every employee I interacted with in the interim. I felt so safe, supported, and respected in the decision I was making, from start to finish. I was so nervous, very scared for the experience in the upcoming days, but the morning before my appointment I called to go over the details and a lovely person spoke to me on the phone (Laura, I believe was their name) and it really set the tone--I knew I was in good hands, and the Walnut Creek Planned Parenthood did not miss a beat on one of the hardest days of my entire life. I could not recommend this location enough. I wish I had gotten the names of all the people who supported me throughout the day, but I trust that every single person employed here will be equally as effective in their care-giving. The only hard moment (and this had NOTHING to do with the clinic or the incredible people employed there) was due to the protesters outside. They clearly were not allowed to step beyond the curb, but they yelled extremely upsetting (and untrue) things at me and my partner as we parked and walked in. They tried to directly engage me, it felt personal and intentionally harmful, but as I mentioned previously there was a wonderful person in a bright orange vest labeled "escort" who took me inside with so much care and kindness. I had been given a heads up about the protesters, from a friend who had visited the location before and during the phone call I had with Laura the day prior, so please be aware that they might be there. It is so sad they don't have anything better to do with their Friday mornings, but PP does a great job of keeping them at bay. So sorry to anyone who has to engage with them, but PP made up for it in a big way (also, they were gone by the time I got out of my appointment--seems like they clear out after noon-ish?) So much love to anyone who receives care here, and thank you to all of the amazing staff for making this incredibly hard, sad experience livable.

I had to have a small medical procedure and the staff the entire time were extremely nice and accommodating, never looked upset and they were willing to help with everything, I couldn’t leave the rest area for a bit because of my oxygen levels but they did everything in their power to help me get my oxygen back up, I have asthma and it got bad the day I came in and I don’t usually need it but I did that day and they gave me an inhaler and were so kind while I was so anxious, the doctors and nurses here are wonderful and left me feeling very comfortable with my visit, one of the first times I’ve felt actually comfortable in a doctors office and felt fully cared for, thank you to all the staff!

Trying to find out what times those protesters out front usually gather here so I can make time to come annoy them. Would get higher ratings if that eyesore was gone.

Went in for a routine visit today. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. They were slammed with a lot of patients so there was a bit of a wait to get seen, but the staff made it worth it. I was checked in by Genesis at the front desk and she was very helpful, and we got through the check in process quickly. I was then able to watch Pirates of the Caribbean on their TV while I waited to be called back, which made the wait feel a lot quicker. Kalila was the medical assistant who did my visit, and she was very friendly, helpful, and was able to answer all of my questions. She made the blood draw quick and not too painful which was nice.Overall: A little bit of a wait before being seen, but the excellent staff made it a positive experience.

My appointment was 12:45 and they let me in at 1:45after I had to waited again 35mins inside the room without my pant. Lol , and I still have to paid $580.Located at Walnut Creek, CA

Not sure what her title was but Emma was amazing . She talked to me through the entire thing making sure I was comfortable and to get my mind off of what was going on . She did an amazing job . She most definitely made my appointment a lot better which made my frown turn upside for sure . THANKS EMMA YOU ROCK

LOCATION: This location is a little difficult to find. It's off a side road and the Planned Parenthood sign faces into the parking lot. The building is surrounded by big trees, which is very nice!, but made it a tad hard to find.PARKING: Parking is free, but I can definitely see there being an issue around high-traffic times: there are only a few spots and the lot is shared with another building. You can park on the street, but it's very crowded which makes finding a spot difficult.PICKETERS: There are very self righteous picketers here. I was disappointed to see this. They did not approach me however they were there with huge signs condemning those who exercise their personal rights to their bodies. *NOTE: Planned Parenthood provides an escort service if you feel uncomfortable with the picketers. All you have to do is call when you arrive and they will send someone out to get you.OFFICE CONDITION: This is an older building, with a lot of 70's style wood paneling, windows close to the ceiling and older style rooms / doors / front desk. With this being said, the office / bathroom / procedure rooms are immaculate. The waiting room is large, and has a tv on with movies playing to keep your company while you wait.FRONT DESK STAFF: The front desk staff was incredibly kind and respectful. The woman I worked with took great care of me and had me checked in a very reasonable amount of time.WAIT TIME: The wait time here was a lot more than I've seen at other locations (San Ramon) but far faster than others (OLD San Ramon / Gilroy / Tracy). I waited about an hour in the waiting room lobby, but as soon as my nurse called me back, things ran very smoothly at a great speed. Once in my room, it took about 10 minutes for the nurses to come in and about 5 minutes after that to see my doctors.DOCTORS & NURSES: The doctors and nurses at this location are unbelievably professional and kind. I was seen by Louise, Charlotte, Emma and Dr. Laura Crystal Ornelas. I'm blown away by the level of treatment I received from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. These ladies asked important questions, didn't rush me and followed up with me after my visit. Louise remembered me from a phone call prior and followed up without me even asking. Emma, Charlotte and Dr. Laura were in my patient room with me. They all knew I had a poor prior experience with a broken IUD. Emma stayed very close to me and held my adult hand as I went through my procedure. My nerves were high and I was scared. She did not let go of me the entire time. She calmly reminded me to breathe, that it okay to squeeze her hand as hard as I needed and was a constant source of encouragement through the procedure. Charlotte was a calm and smiling face every time I looked up at her. Dr. Laura was the calmest doctor I've ever worked with. She was thorough and explained everything to me in detail before she did anything. She was gentle and quick at completing the procedure safely.I had the pleasure of working with Kalia right as I was leaving. She helped me with my prescription, despite having only bumped into me in the hall. She was patient and didn't rush me as I asked about my medication. Louise, from earlier, was waiting with a smile to check on me before I left. I'm truly overcome with gratitude for how these women treated me through my visit. They were all beyond lovely.TLDR: Office is slightly hard to find - watch gps closely. Parking is tight but you have the option to park on the street if necessary. Office is immaculately clean. STAFF IS AMAZING!!

Good for San Ramon location but they don’t offer counseling but this location doesn’t care about therapy or ethics, Katie and other counseling ladies messed up my whole file multiple times. I had to go to a private therapist

As much as I like coming to this center - yesterday's visit left me feeling uneasy. I continued to come to the Walnut Creek clinic for the last 5 years, not only because of the location but the nurses! I usually plan my visit on Mondays (they're open longer) and it doesn't interfere w my work schedule, but let me tell you this very recent visit struck a nerve. I understand being understaff, the hour wait didn't bother me, the attitude from the nurse did. This visit made me all kinds of nervous and usually when I am, my nurse is always comforting and cheery. My nurse didn't smile one bit. She looked irritated to be working. Side eyes, rolling eyes, everything. During a visit when someone needs to be assured everything is going to be okay, I felt rushed. Thankfully the Doctor who had helped me made up for everything. She was a sweetheart, answered any questions and concerns I had. Literally went from 0-100 and I can't thank her enough! Besides issues w a particular nurse, this is one of the best clinics I've gone to. Availability depends on your concerns but I am always able to secure an appointment on time.
