Very happy with the selection although they didn't have one item. I still was able to get what my furbaby needed. The prices were reasonable compared to our pet store we go to in Arizona. Now that we live in California this is our go to pet food market from now on. Great customer service as well.

This location hosts weekly adoption breakout sessions for a local center I’m fostering with. The employees are so friendly and kind, coming through when someone needs an extra crate or they notice a bored kitty who needs a toy or two to be entertained ?

I absolutely love this store. Highlights are that the staff are extremely, extremely friendly, the pet wash stations are excellent, the store itself is extremely clean, and all the products are awesome. My little pup and I lived right next to this store for about a year and we both loved popping in (especially him). It was always a highlight of our day!

- Friendly staff: everyone here is so nice. My dog's favorite thing to do every day was to go there and visit and get pats and love from the people at the store. They are all super friendly and I also love chatting with them. Jade, Camarin, Adrian, Lindsay, shiney and Carly in particular were awesome. But everyone was friendly. It is a really nice environment to come into whether you were buying anything or not.
- cleanliness: the store is just squeaky clean. At all times. It is awesome.
- pet wash stations: best pet wash stations I’ve been to. More water, shampoo comes out through the water, stations are clean, and they give you a little treats and towels. Also better prices here than on the East Coast. It’s the only thing I found in NorCal that was less expensive and better quality than something similar in my hometown of Washington DC. Really the only thing.
- good products: good products at good prices. I’m usually an Amazon person for all purchases, but the store was so friendly and so good that whenever I needed anything I just went here.

Had a wonderful experience with Jade on Halloween night! Dressed in costume, my girlfriend and I, brought our dog in and was greeted with positivity from Jade! Our dog was so happy to see her and even got some good Halloween treats that he highly enjoyed! Thank you, Jade for not judging us and being genuine. Pet Food Express has a great employee! For your genuine customer service I will start shopping with Pet Food Express again.

Staff here are SO helpful, answering all of our questions about the best dog food for our aged senior. They have the best selection of all things pet related at a good value. Best of all is the expertise of their staff and their pet food/treat satisfaction guarantee. We've purchased all our pet items: food, treats, flea meds, beds, etc. at Pet Food Express for over 20 years. Their quality and value cannot be beat.

I am a dog trainer and I run puppy classes at this location on Monday nights ("Pup 1" through Bravo!Pup). As I arrived to set up class last night, I was struck (not for the first time) by how great the staff is here. **They are always helpful, pleasant and engaging. I enjoy and look forward to our brief interactions.**The floor of the training room is clean and disinfected prior to my arrival.**They always get me more disinfectant to spray on my shoe-mat, even when it means they have to walk all the way back to the Employee's Only area of the store.**If I have any other needs, they are quick to respond which helps me ensure I'm ready before the puppies arrive!Well done, Walnut Creek crew! Thank you so much!!
